My daughter had a volleyball practice match at a nearby high school, so I looked for a restaurant nearby and, since the reviews were good, came here for lunch. Today's lunch menu was fresh nori cream pasta and asari clam and mussel oil pasta. I ordered the fresh nori cream pasta lunch with the 500-yen set. The person I went with ordered the clam pasta. The salad had a dressing with the acidity and umami of balsamic and a touch of sweetness, so it was refreshing. The set's soup was apparently made from red sea bream and chicken bone broth. Light yet packed with umami—this was delicious too. The fresh nori cream pasta had a nice balance of nori flavor and rich cream, and I enjoyed it to the last bite. The after-meal coffee and mini dessert panna cotta paired perfectly. The mini dessert was small but had a rich milky flavor, the perfect size for me. The restaurant's atmosphere was also very nice, and the staff's service was very pleasant. It's the kind of place I'll definitely want to come back to whenever there's a practice match here. Thank you for the meal! Lunch set, tax included ¥1,650 (pasta, salad, soup, mini dessert, coffee)
View on GoogleI visited for Sunday lunch after seeing the Google reviews. A lunch pasta with the set menu added came to 1650 yen, and I encountered wonderful flavors. Each dish is made very carefully and is very delicious. The coffee also seems to be ground from beans. The water is also served in a Yamazaki glass with a thin rim, so it tastes good. A place where you can feel attention to detail like this. The owner runs it single-handedly, but seems to keep an eye on the tables too, so dishes are served at just the right time. I was impressed. I'd like to come again.
View on GoogleAIZO had caught my eye every time I drove along Machida Kaido. I was finally able to go eat there. We ordered the lunch set: my husband had the chicken and mushroom cream spaghetti (1000 yen) and I had the asari clam and mussel oil spaghetti (1000 yen) +500 yen gets you salad, coffee, and dessert First, shortly after we sat down the salad arrived, and the elaborate dressing surprised me. Delicious. It shifts from sour and salty flavors to something sweet, which left a very good impression Next was a tomato soup with red sea bream and chicken bone broth. The sea bream flavor came through faintly, and I learned that fish broth in tomato soup really works This was delicious too, raising my expectations for the spaghetti The main pasta. I got to taste my husband's too, and both had exquisitely good sauces! I think various seasonings(?) are combined, but it's high quality and beautifully comes together into one flavor and the ingredients blend in further, so both spaghettis are delicious with a lingering aftertaste. Dessert was panna cotta. The fresh cream really stands out, which I love Together with the after-meal coffee (the coffee is delicious too) we finished every last bite and sip Overall, who knew such a high-level restaurant was in Aihara...! I've already started begging my husband to make AIZO our wedding anniversary spot this year. One small personal thought: it would be great if they put a few disposable chopsticks in the cutlery holder too (the salad is hard to pick up with a fork, so I'd like to eat it with chopsticks...) Thank you for the meal!
View on GoogleCame for lunch. I ordered pasta as a lunch set. The lunch set's soup, made with red sea bream broth, was light and delicious, and the salad's vegetables were fresh and went perfectly with the balsamic. The 3-item appetizer platter that came with the chef's choice lunch course another customer ordered looked appealing, so I asked if I could order it à la carte, and they kindly said OK, so I ordered one serving. Everything was, in a word, delicious! (^^) The pasta was al dente, cooked just right, with the creamy carbonara sauce clinging nicely, and the mussels and asari clams in the oil pasta were fresh and plump!! A stylish interior and a lovely owner—a completely satisfying lunch.
View on GoogleA stylish Italian restaurant just under a 10-minute walk from Aihara Station on the JR Yokohama Line. The service left a very good impression; all the staff were polite, cheerful, and smiling, which I thought was wonderful. The food was photogenic and delicious overall. However, the beef tongue dish listed on the blackboard as today's recommendation was a little weak in flavor, and I thought the sauce could be a bit stronger, or they could provide seasonings like black pepper. Also, if there were chili oil, Tabasco, or jalapeño sauce for the pizza, I think the pizza would have been even more delicious, so stocking more tabletop condiments so customers can adjust flavors themselves might raise visitor satisfaction even further. I've written a lot, but the level of service is quite high and the taste was delicious overall, so it's a place I recommend. If you live nearby, definitely give it a try.
