Nice shop, nice ramen! The wasabi leaf is a nice touch!
View on GoogleA 1-minute walk toward Kokubunji along the road beside the railway tracks from the north exit of Kunitachi Station. You can walk past if you are not looking carefully, so watch for the noren curtain. A narrow-fronted restaurant with counter seating only. There are three types: 中華そば, つけ麺, and カレーそば. You can choose noodles containing soba flour or Chinese-style egg noodles. The 特製 version includes extra chashu and a seasoned egg. つけそば also comes in a spicy version. I chose 中華そば with soba-flour noodles. The flavor is mild, and the soba-flour noodles are just like soba. The portion is not large. Although it is called 中華そば, the dashi is Japanese-style too, perhaps bonito dashi? Shichimi with yuzu is essential. The noodles are topped with menma, mizuna, and chashu. The menma and chashu are reasonably tasty. 3.5
View on GoogleI have been coming here for about half a year now. My palate does not handle greasy ramen noodles or broth well, so the soup here suits me very well, with an exquisite balance that is light yet still leaves a proper flavor. You can choose soba-flour noodles or egg noodles, but I recommend the soba-flour ones. It feels almost like soba nudged just slightly toward shoyu ramen.
View on GoogleA tucked-away restaurant whose entrance you would not even notice if you casually walked past. 中華そば with a light soy sauce flavor that feels somehow nostalgic. A ramen shop that adults who have moved on from wolfing down rich, heavy ramen will want to frequent. A cherished, comforting space with reasonable prices. You can choose soba-flour noodles or egg noodles.

You can also choose Chinese-style egg noodles The toppings felt like ramen while the noodles felt like Japanese soba, which was a bit awkward, but it was unusual and reasonably tasty. Still, I prefer regular Chinese-style noodles.
