It is nowadays not so common to have a lunch at a restaurant, which is not a franchise. Especially it is the case in the area near Yaho station, where there is almost none except Franchise., But here, you can have something typical yet very nice home-made western food. The menu depends usually but as I went there for a few times, all of them were good to taste and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing. When you want to take some time and enjoy your meal, I will recommend this one among others.
View on GoogleI had the lunch menu. The hamburg steak with demi-glace sauce was firm and had a strongly meaty texture. The shrimp macaroni gratin had a satisfying portion and was reasonably delicious. The restaurant felt quite worn out, and maintaining it seemed difficult. I also thought that polishing it up might actually give it a distinguished character.
View on GoogleI found this Western-style restaurant while searching for somewhere serving curry with the sauce in a gravy boat. I visited for lunch. The cutlet was chicken katsu, but the katsu curry I had was delicious.
View on GoogleA Western-style restaurant near Yaho Station. There is parking too. The interior has the retro atmosphere of an old-fashioned Western-style restaurant. I came alone for lunch on Saturday. It still seemed fairly empty, so I was seated right away. More and more customers arrived afterward, and later arrivals appeared to have to wait in the waiting seats. There were various lunch options, including steak and hamburger steak, but I chose the fried fish. Tartar sauce costs extra (+80円). The crispy coating and springy squid were delicious, and the white fish was tender and tasty too. I also liked that they served nameko mushroom miso soup rather than soup; it felt characteristic of a Japanese Western-style restaurant. The bottled sauce was Worcestershire sauce, with a nostalgic flavor. The disappointing part was the small amount of cabbage on the side. Personally, I would have liked a little more vegetables. Also, a small service charge is added when you pay. The total will be slightly higher than the price on the menu, so keep that in mind. Cashless and card payments were also accepted.
View on GoogleIf you really love a retro atmosphere, you might find this place irresistible. The toilet is Japanese-style squat. Perhaps the retro atmosphere makes up for the overall cleanliness of the place. Recommended for people who enjoy a sense of bygone times.
