Pretty good. I had tsukemen, the noodle was thick and chewy!
View on GoogleThe owner has such a pleasant manner that this is the kind of place you want to return to. My recommendations are 極ラーメン and 極ラー油麺. If you want something richer, I recommend ラー油麺; if you want to savor the delicious broth, I personally feel ラーメン may be the better choice. The ラーメン has delicious thin noodles, and the broth is seafood tonkotsu, which they said contains no chemical seasonings. This broth is outstanding—I even ordered extra noodles and then drank it all. The ラー油麺 uses thick noodles made with domestically grown 春よこい wheat. They pick up the rich ラー油麺 broth beautifully and are absolutely delicious. Here's a little trick: even if you order ラー油麺, the extra noodle serving comes with thin noodles, so you get to enjoy it twice in different ways. It's delicious, and I recommend it.
View on GoogleI ordered the standard ramen. The noodles were like Hakata noodles. The broth was rich. They added a seasoned egg and chashu through their year-end Instagram-follow promotion. The noodle portion is a little small, but extra noodles are available. Payment by PayPay is accepted.
View on Google「くぬぎ」 is a short walk from 国立駅. The seafood-and-tonkotsu-based broth is rich but has a clean finish and a deep flavor. The extra-thin straight noodles have a firm bite, pick up the broth well, and were enjoyable to the last bite. The chashu is tender, and the crisp texture of the bamboo shoot tips adds a nice accent. The restaurant has a calm atmosphere and mostly counter seating, so another appealing point is how easy it is to drop in alone.
View on GoogleOn my first visit, I had 極ラーメン and ネギチャ-丼. First of all, one word: delicious. The seafood tonkotsu broth is tasty. The thin noodles were good, and the toppings were delicious too.
