If you receive a goshuin at Yaho Tenmangu, you can get a small cake as a complimentary treat. In the new, clean interior, the delicious cold brew coffee, cheesecake, and the gentle owner's smile soothed me. It's a cafe that makes you want to stop by again. I haven't checked whether it has parking, but Yaho Tenmangu has a fairly large free parking lot, so it's convenient to visit after paying your respects. It's also a short walk from Yaho Station on the JR Nambu Line. The exterior isn't flashy, so be careful not to miss it. Look for the cute sign with "みる" written in hiragana.
View on GoogleWhen I visited Yaho Tenmangu to pay my respects, I received a small local Map. This place was listed as one of the shops offering "hospitality", so I stopped by. I had cold brew coffee and the blueberry chiffon cake offered as a complimentary "hospitality" treat. Both were very delicious.
View on GoogleI stopped by on my way back from Yaho Tenmangu. The kind-looking owner made very delicious coffee, and I could relax and forget the busyness of everyday life for a little while. He said running a coffee shop is difficult these days, but every corner was thoroughly cleaned. It made me think I'd visit often if I lived nearby.
