It's a must visit place on clear day and if you know the history then should visit to remember the story. 🙇

One of the most popular site on Kozushima island with a large cross and view across to the main town on this idyllic island.

Serene place to see the whole island view. You can see the pier from this place. It also gives a nice clear view of Mount tenjo. Must visit. We hired a motor bike to roam around for a day and it was 15 mins drive from the port.

This is the Arima Observatory. You get a good view of Maehama Beach, where I was earlier, and the Yocchare Center. In a straight line it's only 700〜800m away, but being this high up is proof that I climbed a pretty steep slope on an electric-assist bicycle. The breeze feels great on my sweaty body. Just sipping tea while gazing at the sea to soothe my tired body is a blissful moment. This is a spot you absolutely must visit if you come to Kozushima.

A hill with a really great view. You can see the whole village and all of Maehama Beach, and the scenery is the best. That said, there's no shade and the summer sun is harsh, and since there are no buildings around, there isn't even a toilet, so I don't think you can stay long. I think it's really just a place to enjoy the view.
