酔って家Yotteke
Izakaya 「酔って家」, a 6-minute walk from JR 「Shiomi Station」, goes to the fishmonger every morning to buy fresh fish for sashimi to serve. Being able to enjoy authentic Okinawan cuisine is another of our attractions. The interior has a friendly, homey atmosphere, so feel free to drop by anytime.

My wife and I had a wonderful dinner at Yotteke. We're not sure what some people are saying in the comments regarding bad service to foreigners. We are foreigners and we were warmly welcomed and seated quickly. I was looking through the menu and was confused, and one of the locals helped me identify what I was looking for. I was surprised when they brought out snails as an appetizer. I had never eaten them and I was worried. I didn't want to disappoint the chef, so I couldn't turn them down. They were delicious and I'm glad that I tried them. The pork cutlet curry was one of the best that we have ever tasted. It was seasoned well and had a nice spicy kick to it. Overall, we had an awesome experience and highly recommend that you visit this restaurant.
View on GoogleIf you want a true authentic izakaya experience, please go here! This was very much a "locals-only" type of place and we were very happy we visited. Everyone was very friendly, even though I felt out of place at first, we spoke with some locals who were wonderful. Everyone there was genuinely wanting to talk and converse with one another. The owner and worker who was there was also very nice and provided very quick service. Food was SO delicious and flavorful! Price was very very good for the amount of quality! ❤️ Thank you!
View on GoogleJust tried eating here for dinner tonight & although there were seats at the bar (a Japanese couple there thoughtfully offered to move over for us) & several tables of 4 were available, but the owner/cook came out & indicated we weren’t welcome being foreigners 😳😬☹️❗️Upon leaving a Japanese couple were allowed to sit down at the bar seats offered to us. Very disappointing to encounter this type of ignorant behaviour & attitude.
View on GoogleThis restaurant is an authentic eatery that locals go to. Food was delicious, prices were affordable, staff were friendly. Highly recommended to go for the experience and eat some foods you normally wouldn't find.
View on GoogleVisiting from overseas and came across this restaurant. Food was delicious, best handmade gyozas we've ever had, and the sashimi platter was amazing! Can't fault the service either, would highly recommend!
