Yu and his mother were very nice and accommodating to us and did their best to give us good service despite the cultural and language barriers. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone! The meat was also very tasty! ;)

Great beef , even their lower class beef melts in your mouth. I love the quality of the meat, and the super reasonable price.

The quality of the meat is so good that you won't be able to stop eating white rice. My wife chose this restaurant to celebrate my birthday, and it's my first visit to Sumibi Tei in Nishi-Oojima. I was looking forward to it, so I went with high expectations. This time, I ordered the absolute must-haves: Jou Tan Shio (superior salted beef tongue), Jou Karubi (superior short ribs), Harami (skirt steak), and Horumon (offal). Every cut of meat was surprisingly high quality, and when grilled until savory, the juicy umami spreads all over your mouth. Thinking that the only way to accompany this was with white rice, I ordered a large bowl of rice, which arrived piled high—just a step away from a manga-style mountain of rice. It's the ultimate volume to face off against this exquisite meat. Furthermore, I also ordered my favorite garlic grilled in oil. The combination of fluffy, tender garlic and meat made it truly impossible to stop eating rice, to the point where I felt like asking for a refill. The Oikimchi (cucumber kimchi) is also outstanding. Looking around the restaurant, there were quite a few other menu items that caught my eye, so I'd definitely like to come back and repeat the experience. Thank you for the meal.
