Visited for an evening drinking gathering. It's a soba restaurant, a yakitori place, and an izakaya all in one. The food is delicious, so I end up drinking too much. The mori soba to finish is fantastic! The owner and young staff are very energetic.

The soba had a little firmness and was decent, but the dipping sauce was a bit too soy-sauce salty… Do they make the katsudon using this as a base too? That was salty as well. There was also little liquid, not much topping or egg, and none of that fluffy, melty texture… It felt like visiting a Japanese restaurant abroad.

A restaurant combining a soba shop and an izakaya. All seats are non-smoking, and cashless payments are accepted. However, at lunchtime, electronic money can be used but credit cards cannot. There is an ashtray outside. Please smoke outside.

I visited for lunch. The tendon and mori soba set was 980円. The soba had a firm bite and was delicious. Apparently they use soba flour from Tochigi. The tendon has an excellent balance of tempura quality and quantity and rice quantity. This kind of tendon sometimes has small tempura pieces with too much batter and too much rice, but I think this restaurant has thought it through well. The tempura is a little soggy, but within an acceptable range. I think it's good value. It must be popular, as customers kept coming in. Next time I'd like a large soba portion.

The main branch of the yakitori place next door. A varied menu of drinking snacks at reasonable prices. Ideal for a quick drink. The soba menu is extensive too. I appreciate the small portion of soba to finish.
