This was a shop I always wondered about whenever I went to Toyocho~! A shop in a back alley of Toyocho called "Uraroji"—what a great name! Inside there are counter and table seats, so it's fine even if you're alone. That day I ordered the roast pork with rice! While waiting I looked at the menu and, what do you know! If you register for the shop's LINE, you get a free sparkling wine! Registered immediately lol The ice-cold sparkling wine is delicious! Looks like they have a variety of reasonably priced wines too. Next time I want to come at night! After waiting a while sipping sparkling wine, the roast pork arrived! This too had such volume I was surprised! The salad dressing and the roast pork were both delicious! The rice portion being on the smaller side was just right! I was satisfied with everything~ Wow, I'm so satisfied~ Next time let's go for dinner and wine! Thank you for the meal!
View on GoogleI visited when meeting a friend who lives in Toyocho, drawn by the good reviews. It turned out to be a warmer, lovelier shop than I'd imagined. Every dish is made really carefully, and while the menu itself is THE classic bistro, whatever you order is a cut above in deliciousness. Plus, prices are reasonable overall and portions are generous, so the concept "a place that fills your heart with food and smiles" fits way too perfectly. The staff's vibe was also really nice, and it's so comfortable I bet lots of people are regulars. No wonder the table seats were full even in the middle of the week. The red wine we asked the staff to pick for us was also really delicious, and it let us enjoy the food 50% more. Wine by the glass from 780 yen The IPA called Far East that we had for the toast was delicious too~~ ● Assorted 5 hors d'oeuvres, for 2, 2480 yen That day it was creamy potato salad, orange-flavored carottes râpées, pâté de campagne, chicken liver mousse, and pork shoulder ham. They were all so delicious I'd be stuck if asked which was best. Even the carottes râpées, which tend to be overshadowed by the stars, impressed me with their fresh orange sweetness. The chicken liver mousse was rich in umami and smooth. The potato salad was creamy with an intriguing texture! The pâté de campagne was so good I ordered seconds. ● Fluffy, Melty Œuf Mayo 580 yen I love œuf mayo and order it whenever I find it, but this one tasted of anchovy, which surprised me! The sauce was so good that at the end I was eating just the sauce with a spoon lol ● Beef Belly Stew, Madeira Flavor 1980 yen Top-class deliciousness among all the beef stew-type dishes I've ever come across... honestly maybe number 1... Honestly, I was pretty shocked that such a genius beef stew was hiding in a back alley of Toyocho (no offense) First of all, the meat has no sinew and is stewed really tender. Thoroughly flavored, too. The sauce isn't anything really unusual, but it has a rich, deep umami. It was really delicious. ● "Grilled" Pâté de Campagne 1380 yen The pâté de campagne that also appeared in the appetizer—this is where I ordered seconds. Since this one is "grilled," the texture is a little different. The distinctive spices are addictively delicious. A wine thief. The pickles on the side were nicely sour and delicious too~ ● Turnip Potage 580 yen Turnip potage, which you don't see often. The piping hot soup with its thick, heavy texture strangely goes well with wine too. It had a certain sweetness—a luxurious soup. ● Raisins on the Vine and Dried Figs 780 yen The figs were seared and warm! The sweetness of the figs went great with the red wine. It was my first time seeing raisins on the vine, and just the look got me excited! The perfect snack to nibble on after the meal. ● Crème Brûlée 680 yen The surface was crackly like candy. Stick your spoon in and it makes a nice crack. The crunchy texture and the smooth, gently sweet custard were really delicious. It went with wine too (I'm saying that about every dish lol) It was big enough to share between two, but it's so delicious you could easily eat it all by yourself! A lovely, delicious, comfortable shop that makes me want to come back!
View on Google2026/7/26 (Sun).. Lunch at Uraroji~♪ This place near Toyocho Station.. I'd been curious about it for a while, so I went around 13:30 without a reservation and sat at the counter! Ordered the roast pork (with rice).. The salad was crisp The meat was tender and the sauce was nice I enjoyed it and was very satisfied♡
View on GoogleIt's near the Koto City Office, and you can get there within 5 minutes on foot from the station. I went at lunchtime. Lunch is roast pork or a quiche plate I wanted quiche, so I got the quiche plate. A super big bacon and onion quiche, and a hearty salad🥗 The baguette was warm too—a very satisfying lunch! Next time I want the roast pork! Thank you for the meal🙏
View on GoogleJust a 3-minute walk from Toyocho Station! I went to a stylish hideaway bistro tucked quietly away in a back alley, a place only those in the know know about ✨ The moment you step inside, a refined, stylish space opens up, and it's so cozy that dropping in casually on your own is totally fine 🥰 Above all, the level of the "meat dishes" is on another dimension! I was curious about the signature roast pork too, but this time I chose the beef short rib stew ✨ The meat was so tender it was shocking, and it paired perfectly with the rich sauce! A blissful flavor that makes you want to call it "drinkable meat" and keeps the wine flowing nonstop 🍷 The hors d'oeuvre platter is also a must-have item you absolutely have to order! Their hospitality in adjusting it to the number of people is the best too, every dish is packed with care and is truly delicious ✨ They have a wide wine lineup too, so being able to enjoy pairings with your food is another luxurious point! There were also groups having a lively time after work, an all-round bistro that never misses no matter the occasion! A place I'd recommend with all my heart for nights when you want to enjoy meat and wine to your heart's content 😊 🍴 Happiness that won't stop! What I ordered 🍴 〚Assorted 5-kind hors d'oeuvre platter〛for 2 people ¥2,480 * Mebaru rockfish carpaccio / roast pork / liver mousse / carrot râpée / potato salad A treasure box of a plate packed with everything you'd want to eat as a starter! Everything goes perfectly with white wine, so you'll be going full throttle from the very start lol 〚Salmon and spinach quiche〛¥1,050 This quiche is seriously moving-level delicious ✨ Super fluffy egg with umami-packed salmon and spinach tightly condensed inside, the satisfaction is insane 🤣 A flavor so addictive you'll want it all to yourself even when sharing with friends! 〚Beef short rib stew, Madeira style〛¥1,980 A shocking texture that makes you certain the moment your spoon goes in: "This tenderness is the real deal...!" ✨ The sweetish Madeira sauce melts together with the fat of the meat, so delicious you'll be lost for words! The sweetness of the vegetables on the side stands out too, a perfect balance! 〚Tuna and seasonal vegetable peperoncino〛¥1,380 The aroma of garlic, a tingling kick, and chewy noodles match perfectly! What deserves special mention is how good the broccoli is, flavored all the way through—an exquisite pasta that's guaranteed to make you go "Broccoli can be the star like this?"! Next, shall we dig deeper into this bistro's pride, the "roast pork," and the "carefully selected red wine" that goes perfectly with it? 🍷✨
