It’s one the side of the temple. Google maps takes you to the back of it but you have to walk toward the temple as the entrance faces the temple. It came up as a kaiseiki search in our neighborhood but I had a hard time finding it later under the English name. I had to save it and search using the Japanese kanji characters. Our hotel helped us with the reservation. The area is serene and beautiful. The two of us were seated in a private room and the lunch was amazing for the price. Many seasonal artistic delicious courses. There is no English menu and the servers were great but spoke limited English.

At the end of the year, if I went before 11:30 on a weekday, I could enter without a reservation. I chose various things like anago, unagi, and hakozen, and was able to eat slowly. The seats near the window are quite cold, so be careful with cold protection. Personally, the ume tororo in the hakozen was very delicious. Less than 20,000 yen for 4 people, the amount was quite large, and it was very delicious.

After finishing worship at Tenjin-sama, I went in front of this entrance and there was a menu displayed, and when I saw it, there was a steak set of 'Yamagata Beef', so I thought 'This is good~' and entered the empty store. No reservation, but I was able to sit without problems. Well, from early April when the Wisteria Festival starts, it won't be like this~ When I looked at the menu again in the store, there was something called 'Ume Tororo Edo Hakozen' which was cheaper and looked delicious than 'Yamagata Beef'. If you think about it, isn't it inappropriate to have 'beef' in a shop located in the precincts of Tenjin-sama? (lol) Besides, I just stroked the cow earlier. So we both chose 'Ume Tororo Edo Hakozen'. In addition, I ordered shochu with water and plum, and my companion ordered with soda. It seems that the plums used in the dishes here are all harvested in the precincts of Kameido Tenjin. But this 'Ume Tororo Edo Hakozen', which includes sashimi and tempura, is 3,080 yen including tax, which is cheap, isn't it~
