The Poop Museum was definitely different, but so much fun! It’s small but absolutely jam-packed with photo ops, activities, games, and even ball pits — there’s way more to do than you’d expect from the outside. It can get pretty loud and energetic, which adds to the playful, silly vibe of the whole place. You even leave with your own little poop souvenir, which is a fun (and funny) touch to remember the visit by. It’s quirky and unique — not your typical museum, but a genuinely good time. Worth a stop if you’re looking for something different and fun to do!

I was honestly a bit disappointed with UNKO Museum. If you’re expecting lots of activities and things to do, there really isn’t much. The museum is quite small, and the admission fee is ¥2,000 for adults and ¥1,100 for children. The only souvenir we got was a cute poop-shaped stick, which was actually one of the highlights. We spent only about 15 minutes there because there wasn’t much to see or do. The photo spots were okay, but they weren’t as impressive as I expected. Overall, it felt overpriced for the experience

Our family visited Tokyo's Unko Museum in February 2025. This quirky attraction is dedicated to cute poop. It features vibrant neon games and photo zones. The kids loved shouting 'unko' and exploring the colorful ball pits. It is a hilarious, unforgettable experience for all ages.

My rating reflects my son's (8 years old) opinion...just for the record. Unfortunately means 'poo' in Japanese, so you get the context. This is a fun and colorful version of unko that kids under 10 seem to adore, judging from the smiles, giggling, and pure glee. Set inside the shopping center, this place takes a while to wait in line for (even with tickets purchased ahead of time), but your little one(s) will thank you for the sacrifice (do they ever tho?). Packed with silly photo ops and activities, from digital experiences to screaming and stomping, to just plain old unko fun.

I don’t usually blindly trust people online who recommend places to visit, but in this case, the description sounded fun and quirky enough to make me want to check it out. Well, I’m a bit disappointed, I feel like I’ve been a bit ripped off, haha It’s just a sort of play area for toddlers, really, really, there’s nothing else to say. I don’t understand why people are selling it as a museum or a tourist attraction. It’s a place where Japanese children play, like in a ball pit or with little screen games about poo. Well, obviously if you’ve got kids, don’t worry about it, go on, it’s fine, it’s fun But as an adult, it’s a bit awkward. I’m not saying that because of the poo, that’s the whole point, and I’m fine with that, it’s funny, but actually coming here amidst children who just want to play, whilst you’re standing there taking photos… I don’t think it was designed for that. I’d feel bad giving it a poor rating because I’m not the target audience, but even if you go there to have a bit of a laugh, it’s not worth the price you pay
