I had 魚介醤油煮豚つけめん and 明太高菜小丼. 魚介醤油煮豚つけめん A combination of seafood soy sauce dipping broth and medium-thick noodles (egg noodles?). It was quite different from the menu photo, with the ingredients submerged in the soup. Having seen the photo, the actual dish didn't look appetizing (-_-;) The soup had a strong salty soy sauce taste, and the noodles were stiff and rough, making it feel like eating convenience-store tsukemen. Were the noodles prepared in advance? I think 1,200円 for this is expensive. 明太高菜小丼 White rice topped with mentaiko from a tube and takana mustard greens. This combination is simply tasty. Thank you for the meal.

2025.08.21 Among places that all looked unappetizing, I chose this one. Frozen food tastes better. What possessed me to order the chashu tsukemen... The soup is just salty and lacks umami. The noodles are weak too. Well, I suppose that's the limit of a food court, and I wasn't expecting to eat anything good at Big Sight anyway, so it's fine, but it made me think how nice it must be to run a business with a captive market lol 2026.04.09 I'm exhibiting again this year and had lunch with colleagues. I knew it tasted bad, but everyone wanted tsukemen, so I had the seasoned-egg tsukemen. As expected, it was bad.

I ordered tsukemen and wasn't given a buzzer, so I thought, "Huh?" Turns out the noodles are boiled in advance. I was surprised, but with so many people coming to the exhibition venue, I suppose it can't be helped. For better or worse, it's an exhibition-venue food court, so this is about what you'd expect.

As for the poor value for money, since it's a food court at an exhibition venue, I can more or less understand, but I don't understand using bowls that are melted, misshapen, and peeling like this. Do they want to serve the food topped with microplastics?

I visited つけめん潤や in the food court at 東京ビックサイト. There was an event, so it was crowded and took more than 10 minutes to place an order. That can't be helped during an event. After ordering, you line up alongside the counter and wait for your food to come out. The tsukemen soup has quite a strong flavor. It was noticeably salty, so it may have been reduced too much. The noodles are thick and tasty. The chashu is thinly sliced and tastes okay. Thank you for the meal!
