I’ve been craving tempura and while I was out visiting the onsen near the fish market, I found the perfect place. There are a lot of little restaurants near the fish market and this one is nowhere near them. It’s over near some loading bays along with two other little restaurants. I got the tempura variety plate and a beer and it was fantastic! The staff was friendly and dealt with my lack of Japanese. If you want authentic tempura, check this place out.

Very good quality of tempura at the new Toyosu market which replaced the older Tsukiji market. I tried the whale sashimi as that is pretty exotic and more of a Japanese delicacy and it was pretty good if not a bit fishy. Just mix it well with the ginger and add soy sauce and its actually pretty good. The couple who manage the shop was nice and try their best to help you even though they don't speak a lot of English. Highly recommended if you are in the area and if you are craving tempura.

Super friendly service and delicious tempura restaurant near the Toyosu Market. Highly recommended after a visit to the tuna auction. Go early b/c it's not a big place, only 6 tables. But the food is amazing and service is quick. Will come again when in the area.

Came here in the early afternoon after the market, got a table right away. If there is a queue u need to put your name on the list, the amount of people and wait for accommodation. Tempura is delicious, freshly fried, mouthwatering, clam miso soup is divine, was like a warm hug. I would recommend to try the whale meat because is good and has a very nice texture.

This was an incredible tempura experience. Everything was fabulous. I wolfed down the fish, shrimp, and vegetable tempura set. I also ordered the pumpkin (excellent) and tuna sashimi, which might have been the best tuna I’ve ever had. The couple who runs the place is sweet and friendly. Even though they don’t officially open until 7 AM, they were kind enough to seat me at 6:40. What a find!
