This experience was so much more amazing than I expected! I honestly had no idea what to expect, but it turned out to be such a magical and surreal experience. It engages so many of your senses — touch, sight, sound and movement — and makes you feel like you’ve stepped into another world. Some of the installations were so unexpected and fascinating that it genuinely felt like magic. ✨ Make sure you book your tickets well in advance! It’s incredibly popular, and tickets can sell out months ahead. We only booked an afternoon session, and unfortunately, it wasn’t nearly enough time to experience everything properly. I’d recommend allowing around 3–5 hours, and even longer if you’re visiting with children, as there’s so much for them to explore and enjoy. There’s also a restaurant inside, so you can have lunch there and make the most of your time without having to leave. A little practical tip: wear comfortable clothes and avoid skirts and long trousers, as some areas involve water and you may need to roll your clothes up. Flip-flops or sandals are a good idea, as you’ll be walking through water in some sections. Definitely one of the most unique and unforgettable experiences from our Tokyo trip. Highly recommended, especially for families with kids! ❤️

teamLab Planets is a creative and immersive museum with some beautifully designed experiences. The water section was particularly impressive, with a unique full-body immersive experience that we really enjoyed. Unfortunately, the transition to the Athletics Forest left a very sour taste. Before entering the water section, you need to remove your shoes and leave your belongings in a locker. You then have to retrieve everything before moving on to the second section. The worst part was having to queue for around 20 minutes in a dark, narrow and crowded locker area just to borrow suitable flat shoes for the Athletics Forest. One staff member was trying his best to find the right shoe sizes for everyone, but the whole process was extremely slow and poorly organised. It completely disrupted the immersive experience created by the first section. This could easily be improved by clearly advising visitors during the booking process to wear flat, enclosed shoes suitable for the Athletics Forest. Better signage and more staff to explain and manage the transition would also make a big difference. Overall, the exhibits themselves are creative and worth experiencing once, but the poor organisation significantly affected our visit. An okay experience overall, but unfortunately not one I would return for.

An incredible and unforgettable experience! teamLab Planets Tokyo is unlike anything I’ve experienced before. The immersive digital art installations are absolutely amazing, and walking barefoot through the different spaces makes the whole visit feel unique and interactive. You will get wet so becareful not to drop your gadgets into water. Every room has something different to discover, from beautiful lights and colours to immersive water and digital art experiences. It’s a fantastic place for taking photos, but the experience itself is even more impressive in person than in pictures. The staff were friendly and the overall experience was well-organised. Definitely a must-visit in Tokyo, especially if you enjoy art, technology, and unique experiences. Highly recommended!

teamLab Planets TOKYO was one of the most unique attractions I visited in Tokyo. The exhibits are incredibly creative and immersive, combining art, light, sound, and technology in ways that constantly surprise you. Every room feels different, and there are plenty of opportunities to slow down and appreciate the artistry behind each installation Some of the exhibits were absolutely stunning, especially the interactive digital displays and the spaces where the artwork responds to visitors. A few sections were quite overstimulating for me due to the intense visuals, lights, and sensory effects, but they were still fascinating to experience and unlike anything I have seen elsewhere Visitors should be aware that parts of the experience require you to be barefoot, and in some areas you will walk through water. It’s worth wearing proper shoes that are easy to remove and put back on. The staff are well organised and provide clear instructions throughout the journey

Absolutely incredible experience at . One of the most unique and immersive attractions we visited in Japan. Every room felt like stepping into a different world and the interactive light displays were amazing for both adults and kids. The whole experience was very well organised, clean and easy to navigate despite being busy. Walking through the water and mirrored installations made it feel truly unforgettable. Perfect mix of art, technology and atmosphere. Definitely worth booking in advance and allowing enough time to fully enjoy each section. A must visit when in Tokyo!
