The Oyakodon was out of this world! I was surprised that they didn’t use any onions but it was amazing. The owner was also really kind even though we didnt’t speak Japanese. I really recommend coming here, it’s really worth it!!!

Because it was drizzling on this day, I was looking for a restaurant I could step right into from Nishi-Oojima Station. I'd always been curious about it, so I went in! The counter seats were already almost full, and I was lucky that just a single seat was open! I ordered their signature Oyakodon Set. The moment the bowl was set down, the golden egg wobbled plumply, and the aroma of dashi broth instantly rose into the air. The egg was runny and half-cooked, the dashi broth slowly released its umami, and the chicken was fluffy, tender, and delicious. To think that this even comes with small soba noodles! ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🧠 Perfect for these situations ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ・Wanting to eat a warm lunch near the station ・In the mood to properly savor an authentic oyakodon ・Looking for a place that's easy to enter even alone ・Wanting to prioritize dashi and perfection over flashiness ・Wanting a satisfying lunch that won't make you sluggish in the afternoon

Visited during lunchtime on a weekday Friday. Out of 7-8 counter seats, 4 were occupied, allowing me to be seated smoothly 🪑 I ordered the "Jou Sumibi Oyakodon" (Superior Charcoal-Grilled Oyakodon), which looked the most delicious on the lunch menu 🐔 True to their commitment to eggs 🥚, the egg yolk 🌕 on top of the bowl is super delicious❗️ It's well worth paying 1000 yen for lunch 🙌🏻 It comes with a small soba, salad 🥗, and tofu, giving it a high satisfaction rating ⭐️ It has a shady storefront, but it might be worth visiting at least once. *PayPay accepted ◎
