I went in alone at lunchtime. There were about 5 groups of customers already; there seemed to be no counter seats, so I sat at a round table and ordered the "pork, garlic chive, and egg stir-fry set meal." It came with mapo tofu and a small dish of dressed bean sprouts, so it was filling, but everything, including the main dish, was underwhelming. It reminded me again how high the standard is at Toshu on the other side of the Takahashi shopping street. It seems like a place loved by the elderly folks in the neighborhood.
View on GoogleR8.2 weekday, visited at 11:40. 4 customers ahead of me, 9 after Table seats and round tables inside Shared a round table and ordered the moyashi soba 850円 verbally (paid in cash afterward) Served after about a 5-minute wait For me the noodles in the moyashi soba were too soft, which was a shame When I left at 11:55 there were 9 customers inside It was a popular neighborhood Chinese diner
View on GoogleThe best neighborhood Chinese diner in the Morishita area, which I go to almost every week. I've eaten almost everything on the menu, and nothing's been a miss. In summer, I recommend the jajamen. An oasis on Takahashi Norakuro-do with lots of regulars, young and old, men and women alike.
View on GoogleSuch great value for this amount at this price ><! A neighborhood Chinese restaurant I'd been curious about because it's always crowded at lunchtime. I finally visited ♡ The interior—oh my! With regular tables and round tables, it gave the impression of a slightly fancy neighborhood Chinese restaurant. This time I ordered today's lunch set [A], "stir-fried pork, garlic chives and egg." It's 850 yen, and a large portion is available for +50 yen. It arrived in a few minutes, and I was shocked!!!! What is this volume lol It's a portion growing male students would be thrilled with lol As for the taste... Delicious (; ;)♡ It's not a punchy flavor, but the solid, properly Chinese seasoning makes the rice go down easily. And the rice itself has the firm grains I like ◎ I'm not a fan of mushy rice... And this stir-fried pork, garlic chives and egg had various kinds of mushrooms in it, which made me feel like I got a bonus ♡ The customers include groups from nearby companies, families, and lots of women dining together, and it fills up the moment it hits 12 o'clock, so going early is ◎ Thank you for the meal ♡
View on GoogleCraving fried rice, I visited Seikaen on Norakuro-do around 7 p.m. on a rainy Sunday. There were 3 groups before me and 2 after me. I had the gomoku (mixed) fried rice, seafood noodles, and pan-fried gyoza. The fried rice was nicely separate and very delicious. It stays tasty to the last bite. It comes with Chinese soup. The seafood noodles had plenty of toppings and were nice, but maybe a little too salty. The noodles had some nice charring and were satisfying. The gyoza were standard gyoza (forgot to take a photo). I went by car so I didn't drink, but it looked like a nice place to take your time over drinks too.
