They are very patient with people that don't speak Japanese well. They have an English menu for the food, but there is no English drink menu. I had the sauté pork and it was delicious. Their portion of umeshu was average and they serve either on ice or with soda.

Despite the language barrier (mitigated by the English menu), it was a delicious meal with friendly staff.

Really awesome food and super friendly owners

I was able to eat my fill for about 1000 yen total with one dish and a rice set. There are few places nearby where you can enjoy home-style cooking, so I come here often. It seems to be run by a couple?, and both are pleasant, yet it doesn't have that vibe where regulars stand out and newcomers aren't welcome, so it's comfortable.

December 2019, visited around 18:10 on a weekday. The highball was strong, generous, and tasty. For snacks I had oden, ham katsu, yakitori with tare sauce, tochio-age, and more. Everything was delicious. The yakitori was tender with a sweet tare sauce and especially delicious. The bill was reasonable too, and I'd like to drop by again.
