Visited for lunch on a Sunday. Ordered the beef stew and tongue stew. Well simmered, the meat falls apart and is super tender. It pairs perfectly with the rich demi-glace sauce, a very satisfying dish. It goes well with the bread too, so you can enjoy it right to the end. Giants uniforms are on display inside, a little playful touch that makes you wonder, is the owner a Giants fan?◎ Looking at the menu, there's quite a wide selection of wine and alcohol, and the display fridge was packed with bottles. I live nearby, so it's a place that makes me want to come back at night next time for a relaxed drink. Recommended for yoshoku lovers!
View on GoogleThe name is Morimori, but not as in big portions, maybe Morimori as in Morishita perhaps? The portion isn't that big, THE yoshoku restaurant Came for lunch, ordered Hamburg B The hamburg isn't big, but the demi-glace tastes like a yoshoku restaurant Neither good nor bad.
View on GoogleA nostalgic yoshoku restaurant. A shop exterior that makes you relax without even trying. I thought it'd be a handy yoshoku place near the station that you can use just for a meal, and went in for the first time. It seems to have table seating only, and many customers were there in groups. The menu lineup is exactly what you'd imagine from a neighborhood yoshoku restaurant. The sets seemed like a good deal, so I ordered the hamburg B set. The hamburg comes with sautéed flounder. I wanted miso soup, so I went with the Japanese-style set. The hamburg is small and the sauce is modest too. The fish sauté was delicious. My impression is that it's mostly used by locals. It's a smoking-permitted restaurant, so children aren't allowed in — please be aware.
View on GoogleI was looking for a place in Morishita and went in because smoking is allowed Had the set of fried shrimp, crab cream croquette, and beef stew, and was happy with all of it You can smoke, and the food is tasty, so I'll be back
View on GoogleThere were an awful lot of 'notice' signs posted, which felt oddly oppressive. Went in for lunch. A hamburg much smaller than in the menu photo was perched there, tiny. The taste was below expectations. The volume wasn't satisfying either. The hamburg, despite being small, had a questionable smell lingering. There are other well-known yoshoku restaurants in the same area, so I won't be back. All in all, disappointing.
