One of the most impressive bowls of tsukemen I’ve had in Tokyo. I can understand why they’ve earned a 99.71 points rating on the Ramen Database, and are considered one of the top ramen restaurants in Japan. The dipping soup packs a powerful punch of pork and seafood flavors. The broth is thick, rich, and almost creamy in texture. Despite its heaviness, it maintains a perfect balance, never feeling overwhelming or greasy. It’s the kind of broth that clings tightly to every strand of noodle. The noodles are medium-thick and cooked to the ideal firmness, providing just the right amount of chew. Combined with the soup, they create a deeply satisfying texture. The chashu is tender and flavorful, the seasoned egg is rich and deeply marinated, and the menma and nori added just the right balance of crunch and aroma. The entire dish felt meticulously crafted. It’s the kind of ramen that’s hard to resist, and you’ll find yourself drinking the soup until the very last drop. Expect a queue, even during off-peak hours. But I believe it’s worth every minute. If you’re a fan of tsukemen or a ramen enthusiast like me, you must come and visit. Their bold, rich flavors and perfect harmony between noodles and soup make this shop a must-try.
View on GoogleOne of the finest thick double soups I’ve ever tried. I usually dislike menma, but these were great. Thick meaty chasu. Wonderful noodles. I arrived a few minutes before opening and there was already a line 20 deep, so plan accordingly.
View on GoogleStill my favourite ramen in all of Japan. A perfectly balanced W soup(pork and niboshi mix) that, despite it's relative heaviness, never gets too much and leaves you wanting more. The texture of the noodles is on point and a beautiful compliment to the broth. Incredible menma, one of the most perfectly cooked eggs I've had and chasiu with out of this world tenderness. Absolutely nothing to complain about with this bowl, don't miss it if you like ramen. Expect a queue.
View on Googlethe best tonkotsu gyokai double soup ramen BAR NONE!!! went one random dec thu arnd 1 pm, had to wait for 10 minutes. get ticket first before queuing. very efficient. loved the midsize noodles, the soup was balanced well, taste and consistency! got the large size ramen, will come back for the tsukemen.
View on GoogleSeems arriving at 13:45-14:00 there may be less queues just a FYI. Arrived on a Monday at 13:45, 8 people in line and seemed five of those where same party. Just mentioning because line probably have been moving slow to free up place for them. Buy a ticket before lining up. When I was there 8 chairs where available and you line up from the left. I just sat down when party of 5 was seated and not more than 10 minutes I was seated. Really friendly master and I guess his wife but constantly busy as this is a popular shop. Had the ajitama ramen with extra chashu 1000+500. Awesome tonkotsu gyokai, oh I have missed this style. Perfect egg and chashu just melts in your mouth. This is top tier stuff, highly recommended.
