Truly the best Indian restaurant in Japan! We found ourselves coming back multiple times during our trip because the food was consistently amazing. Everything is bursting with flavor, and the menu offers a wonderful range of South Indian, North Indian, and Indo-Chinese dishes, all equally impressive. The veg and non-veg biryani were the highlights for us, easily among the best we ever had. The fact that the food is halal is an added bonus. The staff is very welcoming and sweet, and the owner is incredibly kind and gracious. If you’re looking for authentic, flavorful Indian food in Japan, this place is an absolute must-visit. Highly, highly recommended!

Ordered idli, dosa and mango lassi..everything tasted amazing!! The idli was soft and fluffy and my absolute favourite was the red chatni they served it with. The staff was also really sweet.

Maharani in Ojima is a fantastic spot for authentic Indian cuisine! I tried the dosa set and was really impressed — the dosa was huge, perfectly crispy, and served with flavorful chutneys and sambar. The curry was rich and well-spiced, and the naan was soft and freshly baked. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s a great place whether you’re a fan of North or South Indian dishes. Everything was delicious and satisfying. Highly recommended if you’re looking for tasty and authentic Indian food in the area!

The food was really great as well as the service. It would be nice if they can give more curry choices with the set orders. Their MILD level can be spicy if you are not used to spicy food. For me, the mildness is fine. I don't mind a little spiciness. Overall, food and service was great. Reasonably priced too.

Was recommended by some Indian friends to go and glad I did. Both the food and the staff were good and I enjoyed everything quite a bit. I cannot pretend to be an expert on the cuisine but have tried quite a few places at least in Japan. This would be in my current top three for Indian food.
