Second visit. Golden Week so expected a line- we were lucky as all families and as 2 people were seated within 10 minutes. Ordered the meat onboard plate, Cobb salad and focaccia. Neat try was great value, ribs, steak, chicken, fries with 3 sauces and a grill to finish steak to your liking. Cobb salad was large, dressing could be a little spicier but good for Japan. Focaccia was warm, soft and would have ordered more but we were too full! Service was prompt and staff polite despite the crowd. Kids get a lei upon entering, loved how they all twirled their flowers. Great experience!

We always love our family's experience here. Tho the price point is a little bit more expensive, still reasonable for the food and service they give. A favorite are the fries. Can't stop having them 😂 if you're a big group, they would accept you but just do note that they have peak hours as well. You would also need the Line App for you to get a number if you're waiting for a table. Took a while to get seated when we went last time (almost 45 minutes)

🌺 La Ohana Minamisuna is well-loved for both its food and service! 🍴 Food • Serves Hawaiian-inspired dishes like loco moco, pancakes, garlic shrimp, poke bowls, and tropical desserts. • Portions are generous, and the presentation is colorful and vibrant. • They also have refreshing drinks and smoothies that match the island vibe. 🌺 Atmosphere • Interior feels like a Hawaiian resort café — bright, cozy, and family-friendly. • Great for both casual dining and special occasions. 🤝 Service Quality • Staff are known to be friendly, attentive, and welcoming. • They explain the menu well and make the experience relaxing, adding to the “aloha spirit.

When “the customer is king”… but only if the king follows the rules. Wanted pineapple on my burger. At a Hawaiian restaurant. Where pineapple is literally everywhere on the menu. Simple, right? Wrong. After a manager-level summit, I was informed - with maximum politeness - that this was “not possible.” The alternative offered? • Order pineapple separately from the dessert menu. • Request a tabletop grill. • Grill the pineapple myself like a caveman. • Chase pieces of hot pineapple across the table as they kept falling off. • Rebuild my own burger with DIY toppings. Meanwhile, my kid’s spaghetti rolled out already crowned with a perfect slice of pineapple. Apparently, moving pineapple six inches in the kitchen is impossible - but creating a full-on DIY hibachi experience at the table is fine. This is Japan’s service culture in a nutshell: Flawless execution of complicated nonsense. Zero flexibility for simple logic. Polite? Impeccable. Efficient? Surgical. Flexible? About as bendy as a brick. Five stars for entertainment value. Two stars for actual service.

Visited last week. The quality of food has gone down. Quite pricey. Fried dishes have a weird after taste. The poke poke bowl was not good either. Pan cakes seem to be made by a beginner.
