My wife and I had a wonderful dinner at Kurika. The service was exceptional, and the food was extremely delicious. This was our first time here, and we were treated like family. They spoke some English and understood exactly what we wanted. Our favorite dish was the Japanese Fried Chicken, which sadly, I forgot to take a picture of. Everything was seasoned and cooked perfectly. I hope that we have the opportunity to visit again.

Literally one of the best foods we had in Tokyo that we came back on our last night. It's a 6 minute walk from the Shiomi Hotel. They were so welcoming and the atmosphere was so warm and homey. We ordered a lot of food the first time and the portions were huge! Second time we got the steak again and I will be dreaming about it on the way back home. Thank you for the food and the experience!

Saw the good reviews and came to this hole in the wall place not too far from our hotel and it was a strike! Many locals and regulars here, it’s only the couple owners who are doing everything so it took quite some time to get our food, but it’s understandable considering how full the place was. And the food was definitely worth the wait. Big portions for Japan and great value. The chirashi bowl with uni was definitely a steal, so much uni and fish that we had a hard time finishing 😅 The grilled mackerel was big and grilled to perfection. Miso soup was filled with fried tofu and so yummy. We thought the fried tofu was agedashi tofu but it wasn’t - still good though. The eel, yakisoba, katsu and croquette are also great! And the owners are super friendly :) The place just gets kinda hot though so don’t wear too much 😅

GO HERE. The food was amazing. So fresh and the owners so lovely. I haven’t felt welcomed as a foreigner everywhere I’ve gone and they made it very easy to feel comfortable. They have an English menu and the price is PHENOMENAL. I don’t know enough Japanese but I hope they see this and know how much I appreciated their kindness and the quality of the fish. My goodness it melted in my mouth.
