This wine bar is a beautiful, has great food and wine. The host is very nice, is a wine expert and chef. Food: 5 - ordered the pork katsu with hint of balsamic and light salad. Pork was cooked with homemade panko crust. It was seasoned well and was super tender to eat. Service: 5 - the host is one person, so please be respectful and patient. He is very kind and speaks good English to help with the wine and food menu. Atmosphere: 5 - it's quiet, calm and some background chatter. At the bar you will hear friendly people chatting and laughing and enjoying the night. There is no music, which I like. If you sit at the bar, some people may speak with you to say hi. I travel to Japan a lot, but this is my first time staying in Ryogoku and I will be back again. Thanks for the great time!

Quaint, cute, comforting. They have a wide selection of wines and a menu of delicious and delicately prepared little plates. I think the clientelle is a slightly-more-upscale-local crowd of Morishita, which is fun to people watch. Picture this: families with moms with bold, dangly earrings, high school kids with a monochrome street-style style, and dads who appreciate a good whiskey. But also, totally a place to frequent by oneself!

ワインも料理もめちゃくちゃ美味しいです。料理は、私が頼んだのは白ワインでも赤ワインでも合う絶妙な加減でした。ワインは目利きのご主人が好み等に沿ってチョイスしてくれた中から選ぶようなスタイルで、どれも大当たりな感じでした。駅から遠いのもあってか地元密着の隠れ家的な店のようで、私たち以外は顔見知りの人がビールなどを飲んでたりする感じでしたが、本当にワインと料理の質が高いので遠くからでも行く価値ありです。必ずリピートします。

「ワインバー」となっていますが、普通にチューハイとかも飲めます。 よそ行きな感じではなく、近所の方が良く利用されるようなところです。 ワインに関しては種類豊富でお好みの感じを伝えると、それに沿ったワインを目利きな ご主人が出してくれます。 料理もどれも美味しくて選択に困る位です。 他の方々も書いている通り、ご夫婦の人柄の良さが店の雰囲気に良く出ていると思います。
