We loved our experience here. Our tasting guide was very knowledgeable, and answered all of our questions, and explained everything properly. We were never rushed during the experience. They were really accommodating with a few food allergies we had in our group. We did the alchohol tasting, which was fantastic. My favorite was milk brew and coffee cheese. One person got the desert and said it was fantastic.

Koffee Mameya Kakeru is a must-visit every time I’m in Japan—I’ve been several times now, and it never misses. For those unfamiliar, an omakase experience traditionally means “I’ll leave it up to you,” where the chef curates a progression of dishes for you. Kakeru takes that same philosophy and applies it to coffee. Instead of ordering from a menu, you’re guided through a thoughtfully designed sequence of beverages and small bites, each one building on the last. Every course is incredibly intentional. The coffees are prepared using different methods and styles, showcasing a wide spectrum of flavor and expression. The accompanying bites are not just add-ons—they are carefully curated to pair perfectly with each drink, enhancing and transforming the experience in ways that are genuinely surprising. What really stands out is how cohesive it all feels. This isn’t just a tasting—it’s a narrative told through coffee, texture, temperature, and timing. It’s easily one of the most unique and refined coffee experiences you can have anywhere. Reservations are absolutely required and should be made in advance, but it is 100% worth the effort. If you’re a serious coffee enthusiast or just want to experience coffee at the highest level, this is an essential stop.

The ultimate coffee experience for any enthusiast! Visiting Koffee Mameya Kakeru was an absolute highlight of our trip. It is so much more than just a regular coffee shop; it’s a beautifully curated, personalized tasting experience. I absolutely loved the food, which paired beautifully with the drinks and elevated the whole visit. What truly makes this place exceptional, though, is the staff. They are incredibly knowledgeable about different coffee beans, roasts, and brewing profiles. They take the time to chat with you, ask about your flavor preferences, and guide you through their menu like coffee sommeliers. On top of their immense expertise, they were so warm, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our entire visit. If you appreciate good coffee and top-tier hospitality, this place is an absolute must-visit in Tokyo. Exceptional service from start to finish! ☕🍰✨

Such a memorable and unique experience definitely recommend. Staff is some of the nicest I’ve seen in Tokyo. Coffee experience was outstanding but just coming for a cup of coffee here is great. Worth the travel from Shibuya as well.

Had a fantastic experience with the coffee course & dessert. Coffee brewed in different ways, paired with delicious foods. My favourite was certainly the Panama Geisha cold brew and the hummus snack. Highly recommend for all who are keen in coffee.
