Ordered the basic Shio Ginger, large. The bowl arrived without much of a wait. I was impressed by the careful presentation. I worked my way down from the top, loosening the noodles bit by bit and scooping soup onto my renge spoon. The light, refined flavor clung nicely to the chewy noodles that slide right down, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I had fun adding black pepper, ginger vinegar, and shichimi, but at the bottom there was a ton of minced ginger…(°▽°) At the end I drank it all down, crunchy bits and all. Everyone, flip it over from the bottom right at the start before you eat lol
View on GoogleOne row of counter seats, high stools only. The back wall is covered in pro wrestling posters, and the counter wall is full of autographed boards from pro wrestlers. The ginger 🧂 ramen is tasty.
View on GoogleThere used to be a ginger ramen shop called Manish, and I was sad when it closed… but it seems someone from that shop went independent and it became Ginger Noodle. About a 3-minute walk from Kameido Station. A ramen shop on a street lined with bars. Kameido Gyoza is diagonally across. The interior is simple, counter only. Lots of posters and autographs from martial arts events. ◆Ginger Noodle with seasoned egg (¥1,050) ・The salt-and-ginger-based soup is light and feels guilt-free, so you can just gulp it down. ・The contrast of the yellow ginger soup, green kaiware sprouts, white green onion, pink low-temp-cooked chashu, and finally the colorful arare is so cute!!! ・The noodles are thin, go down smoothly, and feel clean. ・There's ginger vinegar on the counter, so you can switch up the flavor! It was really delicious. ✼••┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈••✼ Actually, I've been to Ginger Noodle several times. I heard they do chilled ramen in summer! It's a limited menu, so I think it's best to check Instagram and Twitter to see whether they're serving it. ◆Cold Tsuke Lemon (Sesame) (¥1,300) You can choose olive or sesame. The refreshing lemon and ginger really hit the spot in the scorching heat. The added sesame flavor made it delicious too. It also had prosciutto, which went well with the dipping sauce. It was colorful and pretty, and I really enjoyed it.
View on GoogleSummer means tsukemen, right! So I tried the ginger tsukemen. Solid ginger and chicken umami. Seems like it'd slide right down even when you've got no appetite. (Not that I ever do) You can also get soup-wari.
View on GoogleFirst visit! A bit past 2 p.m. on a weekday, and it wasn't crowded inside. Kameido Ginger Noodle, a few minutes' walk from Kameido Station's north exit. I'd been curious about it every time I walked past (lol) I was planning to have the ginger ramen, but I was drawn to today's limited "Sweet Basil Shio Ramen," so I skipped the standard and ordered the limited one. The light flavor with loads of basil and chopped tomato was really delicious! And the fact that it's chicken chashu makes it even better!! Inside there are pro wrestling-related autographed boards and posters, and videos playing — maybe the owner's a fan? It's a refined taste I don't think I'd ever get tired of. Next time I'll go back for the ginger ramen~
