The freshest sushi I ever had in a very long time. Be prepared to queue outside but you’ll be rewarded with tasty sushi selections when you get seated upstairs. The seating areas are not spacious but I didn't mind much. They only accept cash payments so make sure you bring plenty of cash.
View on GoogleThis sushi restaurant is located about a 15-minute walk from Nishi-Oshima Station on the Toei Shinjuku Line. It is a very popular restaurant, and customers often line up even before it opens on weekdays. The reason for its popularity is that the sushi is very large and fresh, yet reasonably priced. The menu offers a wide variety of items, including sushi sets, individual items, sashimi, and snacks. The way to order is to look at the menu, write it down on an order form, and hand it to the waiter. The menu is easy to understand as pictures and prices are listed on the menu. The fish used for the sushi is all very fresh and very tasty. And each sushi is really big, so I personally recommend ordering individual items instead of a set. If you want to eat a variety of food, you may want to go in a group and share. This restaurant does not take reservations, so getting in line before the restaurant opens may be the fastest way to get in.
View on GoogleFresh and great quality but not pricey. I love here. When I see this restaurant, there is a long cue every time, so it’s really popular. I understand it. Their foods are really fresh and tasty, even so it’s reasonable. You can choose some plates from menu and each of sushi as you want. Of course they have “Sake”, their choices are good match with sushi.
View on GoogleA variety of fish ingredients at Kaiko offers the best sushi in Tokyo. I didn’t know how sushi tastes before I’ve met Kaiko. Indeed, five starts.
View on GoogleWe have been here many times since my first visit to Japan in 2011 when I was introduced by my wife and her family. No idea how long they have been going here, since my mother-in-law grew up very close to this shopping district. The line is usually very long to get in, and the freshness and price of the sushi will not disappoint. The green tea is bottomless, and the beer is served in large mugs. The seating is area is pretty small, but comfortable. Service is good. You should try it.
