A place I had wanted to visit for a while, located midway between 菊川 and 住吉, a little way down a side street off metropolitan route 50. There are about 5 or 6 table seats, with a clean, relaxed atmosphere. Recommended dishes such as sashimi, grilled dishes, and fried foods are listed separately from the menu. Every dish showed thoughtful attention to detail, and I thoroughly enjoyed each one. The wide variety of alcoholic drinks is another plus. I got the impression that many customers were regulars, but there were no barriers, and the homelike atmosphere allowed me to enjoy a leisurely meal. The proprietress's thoughtfulness was lovely too, adding another place to my list of somewhere I want to return😊
View on GoogleI visited for lunch. I was the first lunch customer, shown to my seat in a quiet atmosphere, and ordered! While I waited, the seats filled up before I knew it. The salted mackerel set came with a small side dish and pickles, elegantly presented. The fatty fish was delicious, and the female server's thoughtful attention was pleasant, so I have high hopes for evening drinks here too! Definitely coming back.
View on GoogleA relaxed Japanese restaurant. I visited at 19 on Wednesday, and there were already 2 groups of customers. The sashimi, kakuni, and dashimaki tamago were all delicious. Chatting a little with the proprietress and watching TV, the drinks kept flowing. Thank you for the meal!
View on GoogleI previously came for takeaway bento, but this time I had lunch inside. There are no counter seats. It was quiet before 12 on a weekday, so I sat at a table for 2, but solo diners might feel a little self-conscious when it is crowded. The mixed fried-food set (1,210円) I ordered was more substantial than I expected, with 2 small side dishes in addition to pickles, making it feel quite lavish. The miso soup and white rice were delicious too. The price is a little high, but it is satisfying. More customers arrived after 12, and everyone ordered the sashimi set (1,430円), so that might be the popular menu item. (However, they said the sashimi set may sometimes be unavailable due to ingredient supplies.) I could use PayPay.
View on GoogleVisited for lunch. The sashimi interested me too, but I ordered pork kakuni. Fair pricing. Tasty. They also properly provide the mustard essential for pork kakuni. Happy to get 2 small side dishes. For the accompaniment to the kakuni, I might have preferred vegetables over koya tofu. I will come again.
