I went alone to Jokouen, located about a 1-minute walk from Exit 2 of Tokyo Metro Monzen-Nakacho Station, around 19:20 on a Sunday♪ This October, Koto Ward has a 30% point return for electronic money such as PayPay, and this shop was one of the eligible stores♪ The entrance to the shop is on the 2nd floor, and you go up the stairs♪ I was surprised to find it full! I couldn't tell from the 1st floor, but the shop was bustling, and I could hear loud voices from the kitchen indicating they were in a hurry to prepare the food. This loud voice reminds me of Taiwan, Hong Kong, and China (^_^;) A young lady with a wonderful smile told me to wait until a seat became available, so I waited at the entrance. After about 20 minutes, I was finally able to sit at a counter seat for one person. The background music in the shop was Japanese pop songs. I looked at the menu and thought about ordering a set meal, but there is a 3-item set for 1,100 yen including tax where you can choose a drink, a snack, and a stir-fry, so I ordered that♪ It's said to be a time service from 15:00 to 20:00♪ For the drink, I chose a glass of white wine, for the snack, steamed chicken with green onion sauce, and for the stir-fry, I chose beef with oyster sauce♪ Water was brought immediately, and then the white wine was brought♪ The white wine is sweet and easy to drink. After about 10 minutes, the steamed chicken with green onion sauce was brought♪ When I opened the chopstick box, there were small bamboo chopsticks in a plastic bag and a toothpick, so I used those chopsticks♪ The steamed chicken with green onion sauce had plenty of green onions on top, quite a lot of chicken, and quite a lot of cabbage underneath, and the chicken was steamed moistly, giving a sense of high quality♪ However, the salt is quite strong! And after about 5 minutes, the beef with oyster sauce was brought♪ The amount is small, but it contains onions, wood ear mushrooms, bell peppers, carrots, shimeji mushrooms, bamboo shoots, and beef, and it was freshly cooked and hot, and the oyster sauce was moderately sweet and rich, which was delicious♪ Jokouen is recommended because you can enjoy freshly cooked Chinese food at a relatively reasonable price!

Authentic Chinese restaurant. Strong flavor and delicious. It is heading in the same direction as the so-called Japanese 'machi-chuka' (town Chinese shop), but the walking speed and destination are different, that is an authentic Chinese shop. There is no simplicity or nostalgia there, but it is a taste that can be called delicious. I was looking for a place to eat fried rice near here, and from the search results, the look of this place was my favorite, so I stopped by and it was the right choice. I ordered takana fried rice, my wife ordered the mapo eggplant set. The fried rice was also delicious, but this time the slightly spicy mapo eggplant set was better. Recommended is the handmade gyoza. They are large and the unique sauce goes well and is delicious. The Chinese owner has a great personality, and it is crowded day and night. Friday nights are often full of group customers.
