Old style cafe

Came to the Fukagawa area for work and had lunch at a retro coffee shop 🍝 Mentaiko pasta ☺️ I did wonder if Napolitan would be the thing to order at a coffee shop, though 😅 It had a homemade feel unlike a specialty restaurant, and was delicious But I’d actually just been to Goemon yesterday 😅 It was full even before noon on Saturday Seems to have lots of regulars too I don’t smoke, but apparently you can smoke inside

A Sunday in ３月. Today I watched the Tokyo Marathon in the morning, then when I wanted lunch, all the traffic restrictions kept me from crossing to the other side. I went into “ヒロユキ,” which I spotted on the street. I ordered the “スタミナ焼き” special set for 1,090円. A small soup, plus salad, スタミナ焼き, and rice on one plate! The bold seasoning really makes the rice go down 🍚 Coffee after the meal was included too—very satisfying!! The unpretentious atmosphere of an old-fashioned coffee shop like this is so relaxing. Thank you for the meal 🙇‍♂️

An old-style neighborhood coffee shop that’s neither good nor bad. They don’t seem particularly focused on coffee, serving very ordinary coffee and reasonably decent food. No complaints, but no particular strengths worth talking about.

You can smoke inside. Both the atmosphere and menu have a retro feel. I visited during the daytime on a day off, and horse racing was on TV. The melon soda was generously sized and delicious too. I’d like to come again.
