ふみきってじゃんぷFumikitte Jump Italian Eatery
About a 7-minute walk from Monzen-Nakacho Station. A hidden Italian restaurant where you can enjoy authentic Italian cuisine and wine. Pasta is our pride. We especially recommend the 【FJ Special Squid Ink Pasta】, served based on an Italian recipe from over 50 years ago. Please try the squid's umami and richness bursting out at least once. We have 15~20 kinds each of red and white wine, and you can also enjoy the premium beer "Peroni," which few places carry even in Tokyo. Plenty of snacks too, like cheese, salami, and appetizers. We can also serve to suit your dishes and preferences, so feel free to ask. 【Origin of the shop name】So that all our customers can take off from today and jump into tomorrow…

Unbelievable food and a great host. Honestly one of the best Italian meals I've ever had. And I've been to Italy many times. The garlic bread was the stuff of dreams. And it was incredibly inexpensive.
View on GoogleAn absolute gem. Lovely food, warm friendly service, nice wine. 10/10
View on GoogleA shop in a residential area, a short walk from Monzen-Nakacho Station. A counter and 2 tables, cozy. On the blackboard is a long list of delicious-sounding dishes. Being able to drink "Peroni" on draft is rare even in Tokyo. A citrus aroma, with a light, refreshing finish. "Bitter melon and chicken tender marinade" Found an antipasto I absolutely love. Not very bitter, easy to eat. "Shirasu anchovy" A crispy pizza packed with umami. Goes great with drinks, and easy to eat. Before I knew it, I'd drunk a lot of beer, wine, and sangria, funny how that happens. I chatted with other customers too, and had a fun time♫ By the way… the shop name "Fumikitte Jump" apparently comes from a famous line by Radio NIKKEI announcer Yamamoto during a race call. A lovely shop where horse racing fans gather, and where you can enjoy delicious food even if you know nothing about horse racing.
View on GoogleA friend who loves horse racing and I saw the shop name and wanted to go, so we made a reservation and went. According to the owner (I think it's the chef), many customers don't know this name is a famous race-call line from JRA steeplechase racing. Getting off track, but the Italian draft beer was crisp, just my type, and delicious. The appetizer platter, tuna tartare, sea bass carpaccio, and squid ink pasta also went perfectly with the wine we ordered later, delicious. If I had to nitpick, we sat at the counter and it's narrow behind it, so I thought it'd be hard for people to pass behind. I thought that if they removed the table behind and attached hangers under the counter, bags could be hung there too. But as the shop name suggests, the owner loves horse racing and is friendly, so the conversation got lively and it was fun. They said that on weekends, if requested, they might show horse racing on Green Channel, so enjoying races with good drinks and food could be nice too. Thank you for a fun time♪
View on GoogleI got to know the owner at another restaurant and visited. Though running it solo, the owner is skilled with both hands and words. While cooking, answering the phone, shaking the frying pan, and still chatting with the counter customers, the owner pulls it all off effortlessly. The menu is well thought out: from salads and marinades that can be served right away, oven dishes, stews, to grilled dishes, a lineup designed around the workflow. On top of that, in the kitchen, order slips are lined up by table. Unlike a tablet, this is easy to handle. The food is overall delicious and cheap. And of course the wine too 🍷!
