深川 壱番亭Fukagawa Ichiban Tei
", a yakiniku restaurant in the old downtown, is a long-established business founded in 1948. We reopened after renovation on June 14, 2022. Relying on the discerning eye of veteran craftsmen from a long-established butcher shop, we purchase carefully selected meat each time and carefully butcher it every day. Under the concept "Quality meat at affordable prices," we offer a wide range including wagyu, domestic beef, and imported beef. Another feature of our restaurant is that you can compare Japanese Black and Japanese Brown (akaushi) wagyu, as well as rare wagyu offal and affordable imported beef offal. At lunch, we offer the beef kalbi & pork kalbi yakiniku set from 1,080 yen (tax incl.), kalbi gukbap from 880 yen (tax incl.), and other…

Definitely recommend! The people are very patient with foreigners and explained to us how to order. The price is decent for the amount of meat (you receive about 5 pieces per order). Definitely coming back again and would recommend the wagyu for anyone to try out! Very fatty and the sauces were delicious 🙆♀️
View on GoogleSaw this restaurant on Japan TV “You wa nani shini nippon e” and we had to try it. It was not hard to find and it’s located on the ground floor. The yakiniku was very tender and well marinated. You cook it at your table and just pop it in your mouth at your temperature. I’m sure that you can ask the kitchen to cook it for you, but where is the fun in that. The staff isn’t rude and will answer all your questions politely. But generally leave you alone. The restaurant does have individual booths where you can sit facing the wall and cook your own food. They also have wagyu cuts, but I did not order. The regular cuts were tender enough. The alcoholic drinks were not anything to be raving, but the drinks were nice and cheap. We ordered two lunch sets and shared one yakiniku set and one stone pot bim bim bop (mixed rice dish). It was very yummy. I would go again and again. We went for lunch, but I can see this place becoming crowded at dinner service. Reservations would likely be recommended for dinner service.
View on GoogleThis place was fabulous. The food is fantastic ranging from wagyu to dumplings, Korean pancakes to offal. The selection is wide enough that anyone could eat here, but small enough that the quality is superb. We ordered way too much. Remember that you can always order more. You can't unordered food that's arrived
