The meat was thick and tasty. Friendly and casual service. It is run by a former sumo wrestler Takatoriki. If you like sumo you will enjoy the ambience.

Absolutly recommend 👌. 10/10 value and good pieces of meat. If you are a meat lover it is absolute must to come here. Flip the meat often and let the meat rest for one minute after grilling especially the big pieces.

Amazing Japanese bbq place, very accommodating to tourists as well. We were three people and shared a Drago special meat platter (¥8000), which was more then enough meat. With some vegetables to grill and salad, this was a perfect meal (and the most vegetables we’ve had in Japan)!

It may look like your average neighborhood “yakiniku-ya” (bbq joint), but Dorago is anything but! You will be taunted by the aroma of yakiniku from a distance. Do not disappoint your rumbling tummy to pass by this restaurant. As soon as you get in, their charming staff greets you. If you are lucky the Sumo-SAN will himself be there to welcome you to his restaurant. Their decor may not look classy, but the meat they serve are one of the best I had. Do not forget to try their salads, yummy! Always start with the greens before you go red. Please note prices are comparable to high end restaurant because their meat quality is the best. Note: Dinner can get noisy (lots of fun + beer = lots of laughs) and unfortunately smoking is allowed inside but I haven’t felt probably because space between tables and most of the smoke near me is from the grilled meat! Highly recommended!

Great restaurant for simple Japanese bbq experience. There's place for groups but also 2-4 persons. The food was OK you can select whatever you want to fry or order a combination platter. The service is quick and the beverages are cold. Only downside is that the English menu is quite simple, I see the locals offer different food that's definitely not on the menu like nigiri sushi. Prices are good.
