Very local retro coffee shop in Monzen-Nakacho area,which is more a localize area in Tokyo. This cafe offers many high quality coffee and all are hand-dripped. Customers here seems to be all senior locals

We stumbled across this cafe on our second day staying here. While the breakfast options are limited the coffee was exceptional. We got the buttered toast and it came with jam, the toast was thick and fluffy. The staff were lovely and patient given we are from Australia; they also have an English version of the menu. If I could give 10 stars I definitely would; the atmosphere was calm and not too busy, for 2 Coffees and toast, incredibly cheap, I’m so happy we found this gem.

A great place to be either catching up with friends, grabbing lunch, or doing some out of office work. It’s a pleasant and charming shop without the pitfalls of similar retro cafes: smoking and/or people coming for their social media content. The coffee and food are great but really the charm of the place is why you come to Cafe Toa.

This place has a variety of good coffee and even offers a customized way to serve a cup of coffee!! Such a lovely and brilliant comfortable place and I would love to go there, especially with good company❤
