I found this restaurant after my visit to the Koto driving center. It is at the first floor (Japanese way of counting). The atmosphere is great, the lunch was ok, but somehow expensive. Be careful to cloths when eating curry-udon (カレうどん)!!

The special tempura curry udon with shrimp and chikuwa is to die for. This place is particular about its ingredients and the effort can be tasted.

Unexpectedly, there was a one-drink minimum. The place is set up like an izakaya. I ordered a drink and udon, paid about 2000円, and got around 43円? in change. Honestly, I think it's expensive. For that amount, wouldn't there be other places to go? The udon was chewy, had plenty of vegetables, and was delicious. Others have commented on this too, but the menu was hard to read and the differences weren't very clear, so I got tired of looking through it repeatedly.

【極上のスペシャル鶏温玉カレーのおうどん set／1,650円】AT 2023/8 This izakaya, known for its curry udon, is on the second floor of a building facing an alley just before the 大成建設 headquarters on the south side of 東陽町駅. Impressed by the shop's sign on the first floor, I went in. Inside, the seating arrangement is typical of an izakaya. I had more or less decided what to eat, but while checking the menu again inside, a male customer who arrived after me ordered the special curry udon as soon as he sat down, so I ordered the same. Before the order arrived, I read an explanation on the table about adding complimentary rice to the remaining curry and eating it like rice porridge, which raised my expectations. The order eventually arrived, but the curry udon sauce was surprisingly floury and lacked spice. The tempura was also like the fried food at a standing soba shop. Finally, I added rice to the remaining sauce and ate it, but I wasn't sure about it. Perhaps because my expectations were high, it felt somewhat underwhelming for my tastes. Lunch rating＝２．６
