An inexpensive and tasty place. The popular dishes are tsukesoba and ramen. The noodles are thick and round, slightly firm with a chewy bite. The broth has a soy sauce flavor with the aroma of dried sardines. My first impression was “well, it's about what you'd expect,” but the more I visited, the more its flavor gradually won me over. The portions are large, so be careful when ordering a large serving.
View on GoogleI've been coming for about 40 years, ever since they moved to this area and opened the shop. For a while, the broth became thin and lost its richness, saddening local fans, but now it's delicious again. I hope they stay healthy and keep this shop going forever.
View on GoogleOn the final day, I waited more than 1 and a half hours in pouring rain, but it was well worth it, and I was thoroughly satisfied with my last ramen and fried rice there. It's truly a shame to lose the great value, the elderly couple's perfectly timed exchanges, and the delicious ramen, but thank you for all your hard work over the years.
View on GoogleRamen 550 yen. Plenty of splendid thick noodles in a clear broth. They're cooked quite thoroughly, but are still nicely chewy and smooth. The piping-hot broth has little stock flavor—a traditional Chinese-style eatery.
View on GoogleA nostalgic soy sauce ramen with a subtle aroma of dried sardines and a light stock-based broth that's very delicious. The chashu is delicious too! Sadly, they're closing this weekend, on Saturday, June 15. Chef, thank you for all your hard work over the years😭
