There is an inexpensive parking lot nearby at 200円 for 40 minutes, so you can take your time. The café takes COVID precautions seriously; on entering, you sanitize and receive an explanation of the precautions. The reason I came all this way was that they offer coffee creations rarely found in Japan. The ハニー·カフェ·コン·レーチェ I ordered is such a special item that even an internet search only turns up this place. Its appearance alone is beautiful, with a three-layer gradient of honey, coffee, and foam. Although it contains honey, it isn't that sweet, about the same as sugar syrup in regular coffee. It is hot coffee, but strangely the drinking sensation is closer to iced coffee. It was smooth, delicious coffee, neither too sweet nor too hot. The teapot-shaped spoon rest was cute and oddly memorable.

The coffee had a clean taste and was delicious. On Saturdays and Sundays, it gets quite crowded with local customers.

2020.08.04TUE Visited for lunch The food is outstanding! The rice in the hayashi rice is delicious. Of course, the hayashi sauce is outstanding too. The photo is of freshly baked banana cake It pairs properly and beautifully with the coffee's flavor. Found an excellent place. 2020.08.05WED Gave up because lunch seating was full. While many places close on Wednesdays, they stay open.

The staff seem to prioritize looking after the "sensei" who appear to be regulars. The banana cake isn't good. I'd be better off making café au lait at home. That's all.
