I'd been curious about this place for a while and visited for the first time. I ordered the recommended 「担々麺」 to try it first. The sesame flavor was lovely, the spiciness just right, and the noodles delicious; I even drank all the soup. Next time I'd like to try the sesame miso ramen that caught my attention. For the ☆ rating, I'm deliberately giving four stars in anticipation of my next visit.
View on Google【An unassuming shop serving delicious tantanmen and fried rice☆A long-established ramen shop along 多摩川】 元和泉, 狛江市, 東京都. As far as I remember, this ramen shop has been here for a very long time. It's known for delicious tantanmen and fried rice. The nearest stations, though quite far away, are 和泉多摩川 or 狛江 on the 小田急線. It's on 六郷さくら通り near 狛江市立西河原公民館. There's no parking of its own, but there's a paid lot next door at 100円 for 30 minutes and another diagonally across the street at 200円 for 60 minutes, so driving is convenient _φ(・_・ A weekday lunch, this time in 狛江. Before 13:00, there were 2 customers before me and 1 after. The owner runs everything alone. Order verbally and pay afterward. The small interior has 4 counter seats in front of the kitchen and 1 table seating 4. ◆Today's recommendations◆ 担々麺 1100円 半チャーハンセット 300円 The tantanmen soup is thick and rich, with a strong presence of 芝麻醤 (sesame paste) in the soy sauce base; its creamy, fragrant sesame flavor fills your mouth. The heat is mild, and the balanced seasoning brings out the umami. I boosted it with the chili oil on the table. The toppings are simple: plenty of minced meat and finely sliced white leek cut on a slant. The medium-thin curly noodles pick up the soup well and go perfectly with the generous meat miso (๑´ڡ`๑) Looking at other reviews, apparently the noodles aren't homemade but homemade-style. Perhaps that refers to kneading them by hand before boiling. The half portion of fried rice has a perfect balance of salt and pepper without being heavy. Thoroughly stir-fried to order, it has separate yet moist grains and a deep, understated deliciousness. Incidentally, the next customer ordered fried rice too, so they made both together. Having been open for so many years, they must have regulars. Both the tantanmen and fried rice were delicious. A valuable ramen shop in this area; I'd like to drop in again (✿^‿^) #小結 #狛江応援隊 #担々麺 #老舗 #チャーハン #ラーメン #六郷さくら通り #つけ麺 #再訪可能性高い
View on GoogleVisited around 13:00 on a holiday in May 2024. The shop is quite small, with 4 counter stools and 1 table, and there were no other customers. I verbally ordered soy sauce ramen for 750円 with a half portion of fried rice for 300円. The ramen was ready after 3 minutes. About another 3 minutes later, the half fried rice arrived. The ramen soup gently wafts with chicken and pork stock aromas, followed by a solid punch of umami that's quite powerful. That punch probably comes from a generous use of flavor enhancer. My mouth starts tingling a little. The noodles greet your bite with a firm snap, with an overall slightly dry, clean-breaking, compact texture and a chewy elasticity at the core. These distinctive noodles are good. They suit the soup too. The large slice of char siu feels fluffy and moist in the mouth, with slightly light seasoning. Yet there's something convincing about this restrained flavor that feels strangely satisfying. Now for the fried rice. In contrast, it's simply seasoned with salt and pepper and tastes very natural. Natural though it is, the aroma of fried lard is wonderful and really stimulates the appetite. The way the separate grains loosen apart is pleasant too. Next time I'd like to try something like the miso ramen.
View on GoogleVisited again after a year. The miso ramen had been delicious, so I ordered miso ramen for 900円 again today, along with half fried rice for 300円. The miso ramen really is delicious. I wonder, maybe it's the soup that's so good. Next time I'll try some of the other ramen too. They have various kinds, including green onion ramen and soy sauce ramen. And the fried rice is delicious too! Not sticky, not overly loose, just perfect. It's neighborhood Chinese-style fried rice, but ranks among the 5 best fried rice dishes I've eaten in my life. It's far from the station, but still a ramen shop worth visiting. There are green paths and 多摩川 nearby, so you could combine it with a walk, and there's parking too. I live in 多摩区 and have eaten at every ramen shop in 多摩区 and 狛江, but this place is number one. Great soup, thin noodles, and a good balance.
View on GoogleVisited around 11:00 on Sunday. It didn't seem particularly crowded. The ramen is delicious, but the gyoza and fried rice are especially good. The gyoza is so good I'd go just for it. I feel like it's been a long time since I found gyoza that made me think, “Delicious!” I'll visit again.
