Ramen Miso Maru is located a 3-minute walk from Kunitachi Station in Kokubunji City. Now in its 12th year since opening, this popular ramen shop continues to be loved by the people of the Kunitachi area. The interior has an old-fashioned retro feel, with posters put up each year by Hitotsubashi University students and autographs from celebrities who came for big-eating challenges. At Ramen Miso Maru by Kunitachi's north exit, you can enjoy a large bowl of miso ramen for 780円. Despite rising prices and ingredient costs, we work hard to bring smiles to everyone's faces. We take care with cleaning and disinfecting the shop so that whenever you visit, you can enjoy delicious ramen with peace of mind, as we have until now and will continue to…

Fantastic local ramen shop. Miso soup and other variety/mixes. I had the tonkotsu(pork), thick noodles and the soup was full, but simple flavour - perfect with some chilly oil added. Only thing that would be better is some garlic to add. Large portion of noodles are free. Despite the big red signs, it is a very cool, old traditional wooden building. Counter top & table seating. Worth checking out. Like many ramen places, cash only.

I timed my visit for 「Miso Maru Day」 on the 30th of every month! Their signature 「miso ramen」(normally 780円) can be enjoyed that day for just one coin, 500円. What's more, upgrading to a large portion is always free—an incredibly good-value and generous restaurant! The soup has a perfect balance of sweetness from pork back fat and garlic flavor, and it's so mild and creamy that I wondered whether it contained milk. Rich yet gentle, with a somewhat nostalgic taste, it's a crowd-pleasing flavor I can recommend even to people who don't usually eat much ramen. The noodles are chewy, medium-thick, and curly, and the mellow soup clings to them well. Instead of ordinary chashu, the topping uses sliced pork (pork belly), which went wonderfully with the crunchy bean sprouts, corn, and miso soup. It's also easy to reach from Kunitachi Station's north exit, and it's an outstanding restaurant I can definitely recommend when you want to fill up on delicious miso ramen!

Visited on a weekday just after opening at 11. Ordered a large spicy miso ramen. In this day and age, I'm very grateful they offer a large portion at this price. Perhaps because I was the first customer, the bowl arrived in about 10 minutes. The spice didn't overpower things, and the miso's umami remained, making for a pretty good balance. The noodles didn't feel all that plentiful. Maybe about 1.2 portions In the second half, I added some spicy miso? from the table condiments, and it was quite spicy. It turned into a spicy miso ramen with a good kick. Despite the large portion, I was only about 9 tenths full, but I think the value is very good. Would return

Spicy miso ramen that warms you to your core on a cold night! Noodle dishes come with the welcome perk of a free large portion, making them great value! For those wanting even more, I recommend the uchu portion! (Extra charge) By the way, there are counter and table seats inside! With heartfelt thanks to the owner who made it, thank you for the meal!
