Best donburi I ate in Tokyo!!

This shop is the only sushi restaurant on the dining street stretching from Higashi-Koganei Station. Apparently they do lunch too, but it's a mysterious shop you rarely see open. I've seen it open at night, but it's hard to see inside so it's intimidating to go in, so I was waiting for it to be open during the day (´･Д･)」 The door was slightly open so I tried going in, and there were 4 customers having a course meal since noon and 1 lunch customer, quite busy for a weekday! Thinking they might be busy, I went in apologetically, but they gladly let me in. ・Kaisen bara chirashi (1300 yen) They asked if there was anything I didn't like, but I was fine! Since they were working through the course meals, I waited about 20 minutes, and miso soup with shrimp heads came as part of the set. Colorful vegetables were scattered on top, with plenty of toppings. The tamago was on the sweet side, something kids would probably like too. Digging through the toppings, tarako was spread on top of the sushi rice, no detail overlooked ( ｰ̀ωｰ́ ) The taisho (head chef) didn't seem like a bad guy either, and above all, the mother in charge of service was very humble. If I get the chance, I'd like to drop by casually with friends.

A hidden gem in Higashi-Koganei. There was a lunch sign so I went in, and they said today it's chirashi. They asked if there was anything I didn't like, I said no, and it came out shortly after. Delicious. For 1000 yen, this is an incredible bargain. The opera playing was nice too.
