The food was alright. The salad bar rotates every month I think. I was kind of shocked when I found this out because the last time I went, which was a few months ago, they had the pumpkin salad in the salad bar but this time, they didn’t have it. The dessert options are okay but it wouldn’t hurt if they had a few more. Overall, for the price, this place is satisfactory. My family likes to come here every now and then.

Good value. Get there early

We always come here to eat as a family. You can enjoy delicious, good-quality meat at reasonable prices. The seats are booths, so you don't have to worry about the people around you. The parking lot is spacious and covered, so being able to enter without getting wet on rainy days is another plus◎. We came on a public holiday, but service was quick, which was nice.

Mainly about when there was a communications outage over New Year (1月3日). Since it's nearby, I've been several times and tried to be fairly forgiving, but it's underwhelming: popular promotional cuts like カイノミ and 上ロース are often sold out even shortly after opening (I went three times when they had カイノミ, but only got to eat it once), and service is slow. The taste is decent, but when promotional meats came in premium and regular versions, the regular ones were inconsistent. The lunch options have no refills and are overpriced, so you're better off getting the regular menu if you're just having a meal. I was alone, so I guess it couldn't be helped that they weren't friendly.

If you're having yakiniku around 府中・小金井, I seriously recommend スエヒロ館, so I'm writing this review. ■ Overall rating ★★★★★ ■ Occasion Family Party size: 2 people Visit time: weekend (around 17時) ■ Food and drinks What we ordered: 黒毛和牛特選カルビ、牛ハラミ、特選牛上塩タン、牛タンネギ塩、四種の牛ホルモンMIX、キムチ、ビール、チューハイ Taste and portions: Everything tasted superb, but dishes with “特選” in their names stood a cut above the rest. For the beef tongue in particular, we tried both the 特選 and regular versions, and the flavor made me think, next time 「特選牛タン塩」 would be my only choice. A memorable dish: The 「黒毛和牛特選カルビ」 recommended by the manager filled my mouth with savory flavor the instant I tasted it. A truly delightful dish. ■ Hospitality and service Staff: The manager served us first and, since it was our first visit, carefully explained how the restaurant works and the recommended dishes. Although it was a busy weekend evening, every staff member seemed courteous and attentive. Serving speed: The pace felt perfectly normal, with a robot bringing things over efficiently. ■ Interior and atmosphere Atmosphere: We arrived at 17時, when there were only a few customers and it was quiet, but by 18時 it was full of families and very lively. Seating type: Tables Noise and comfort: The restaurant was lively, but partitions between seats meant conversation wasn't a problem. With lots of families, the atmosphere was pleasant and comfortable too. ■ Value Budget per person: 5,000円 Satisfaction with the price: It was a special occasion, so we thought we'd ordered expensive dishes, but the prices were reasonable, leaving us satisfied. ■ Overall thoughts It was such a wonderful yakiniku restaurant that it ranks among the top 1,2 I've visited. I'm sure there are plenty of places with even better flavors if you look higher up, but it's hard to find somewhere with both just-right prices and a pleasantly lively atmosphere.
