We couldn’t read the menu so we randomly picked something and it was absolutely delicious! That’s were we ate the three nights that we were in Tokyo. Every time we picked something different and we were not disappointed. Highly recommend this restaurant for authentic fresh Japanese food.

I went in because the "Vegetable-Packed Tanmen" (650 yen) caught my eye. Everything on the menu is reasonably priced and tempting, but this time I ordered the tanmen from the sign out front. The carefully made tanmen is topped with lots of vegetables like napa cabbage, carrots, garlic chives, bean sprouts, mushrooms, and pumpkin. It's a gentle-tasting tanmen with a broth full of vegetable flavor. Getting this for 650 yen is a real blessing these days. The Tantanmen (750 yen) and Rousu Tanmen (700 yen) also look interesting~.
View on GoogleAn old-school neighborhood Chinese joint. Run by one older guy on his own. Prices are cheap and it was tasty. There aren't many places to eat in front of the station, so it's a valuable spot.
View on GoogleI had the negi ramen and gyoza. The spiciness of the negi ramen is adjustable, so they made it mild for me. It was delicious. The gyoza had a strong garlic kick, which was perfect for a garlic lover like me. Thank you for the meal. Even though it was dinnertime I was the only customer, so I could eat at a leisurely pace. It might be a hidden gem. I'll definitely come again.
View on Google【2024.7】I had the ramen (600 yen). The soup has a mellow soy sauce taste with a faint animal-based richness and a hint of acidity. A classic flavor that makes you want to slurp it straight from the bowl without a spoon. The house-made noodles are medium-thick, straight, and slightly grayish. They have a unique stretchy, chewy texture. Their distinctive texture and flavor carry characteristics of Chinese noodles, soba, and udon all at once. The look of the shop inside and out also has a unique long-established feel, making it a comfortable space for old-school ramen fans.
