It was fine, I always run past so I wanted to try and it was ok. Just ok. Curry was kind of lukewarm and it felt more like the curry had been reheated than made fresh. It tastes, like I said, just ok. But idk I doubt I’ll go again.

Very tasty plate of curry. The service is excellent and friendly. It's very cozy. There are three tables with four chairs each and four or five counter seats. Looks like local art on the walls. There are four curry choices, I choose the first, least spicy. A great value at ¥700. Very filling. Pickled veggies accompany the curry in a separate dish. I was tempted to try the three curry plate because the presentation was so interesting, next time perhaps.

Took an hour to get food. And the wait wasn't really worth it.

The curry shop “Sai no Tsuno” is located a 3-minute walk from Higashi-Koganei Station. The homey interior wasn't particularly crowded during weekday lunchtime. I sat at the counter and ordered the “Curry Triangle” ¥980, which lets you enjoy 3 types of curry. It is served in about 3 minutes. The accompanying homemade pickles are a nice touch too. The 3 varieties are European-style mild curry, Indian-style red curry, and green curry with minced meat and spinach, and they all taste good. Each has a gentle flavor reflecting the owner's care. The spices come through subtly, and you can taste the professional touch too. The curry rice pairs well with the pickles, which aren't too sour, and is filling and highly satisfying. “Sai no Tsuno” offered excellent hospitality too, making for a pleasant meal.
