Loved this patisserie, it’s absolute proof that good things come in small packages. The range of patisserie’s was surprisingly large for such a small shop, exquisitely prepared and displayed. The owners(?) or staff were so helpful; our purchases were carefully packaged and boxed to protect them, each with a little ice pack to protect from the summer heat. The strawberry cake my wife had was delightful, full of flavour with the sweetness of the cake and filling a perfect balance to the strawberry pieces it contained. My apple pie was delicious, the pastry was light and flaky, and the filling perfect. Well worth the short walk from the station, or a perfect break while walking to or from the Edo Tokyo Architectural Museum. Our only regret is that we didn’t buy more.

Really one of the best cake shops I've ever been to. Make a mix and match from a variety of little cookies ... or buy something for a picnic in Koganei Park. The dark chocolate cake, fruit tarts, and fruit puddings or gelatine cups in summer are particularly recommended. Super friendly staff even open the door for customers.

Only had the pastries... The pomme and the nut extravaganza... And the strawberry "shortcake" and the strawberry choux... All light and ephemeral... Delicious.

A small cake shop with a lovely atmosphere. The shortcake had rich cream that wasn’t overly sweet, and seemed to contain a fairly generous amount of strawberries. The baked sweets had simple, gentle flavors. Overall, the prices weren’t too high, and the male owner seemed kind. Parking: the website says they provide discount tickets for アイパーク小金井桜町第一, a 3-minute walk away. However, the other day I wasn’t given a discount ticket because my stay was short, and paid 220円 for less than 30 minutes. According to アイパーク, the barrier rises after 3 minutes and charges begin. Does that mean they only provide discount tickets for the amount exceeding 220円?

パティスリー メリクリ is toward the north exit of Musashi-Koganei. It’s a place where you can get delicious cakes👶🏻 I tried getting some takeaway for a little celebration. Looking through the display case in the clean, bright shop, I chose Mont Blanc, shortcake, and gâteau au chocolat. They were all so delicious👶🏻 Next time, I’ll try buying a Christmas cake too!
