A small vegan restaurant, perhaps with macrobiotic influences, tucked away inside an old wooden house in the heart of a residential neighborhood. The kitchen radiates the warmth of home cooking. The flavors of the carefully selected vegetables are delicate and carry the soulful touch of a mother's hand.
View on GoogleFantastic restaurant hidden in the suburbs of Musashino Koganei! You are greeted by two friendly ladies that can also speak English. Moreover, there is a tatami floor, allowing you to have a traditional Japanese experience. They also sell various vegan goods too! I ordered the daily set which firstly came really fast and was really affordable compared to other vegan restaurants in western Tokyo. The set was a tofu steak with various side dishes that made your body feel good after. The highlight was the crispy tofu and potato salad that had sweet potatoes in it. I also ordered their daily desserts: a raw brownie and a persimmon muffin. Both delicious and well executed! Come here and you won’t be disappointed!
View on GoogleA cozy vegan restaurant. We ordered chef’s today lunch menu which has several hot and cold food items in a platter. The deep-fried soy meat is nicely seasoned. Other little items are quite tasty, too. We ordered hot soya chai tea and it was really impressive. Not too sweet and good balance of spices. The owner recommended calling them before going so you know what they have on the menu and waiting time. They also sell wholesome snacks. Everything was cute and peaceful.
View on GoogleFantastic vegetarian restaurant in Kogenei! The staff were so accommodating and helpful. We had the set meal of the day and it was delicious! We also enjoyed the soy chai tea. The ambiance was cozy and relaxing. We were pleasantly surprised to find out they had an English menu, and staff were so helpful in guiding through parts that weren't translated. Definitely highly recommend.
View on GoogleAnother Gem hidden in a side street. Please note that the meals are prepared fresh and might take some time when busy. The old building will not reveal the great things happening here, so the hand written sign is the only indicator to find this place. It's well worth the visit.
