A very homey soba restaurant. We ordered nabe yaki udon and dipping udon with duck soup. Very generous portions and nice flavours. The udons were thick with a soft texture.

Without a doubt, the best katsudon I've ever had in Japan. It only cost 800 yen, while in other places, katsudon with this quality can cost ~1500 yen. The chefs were all lovely elderly.

Much to appreciate with this fine establishment in the sense of a time capsule to the past. In addition I found the staff to be kind. However for true soba fanatics this place was definitely underwhelming and I dare say strikingly mediocre
