An iekei ramen shop 2–3 minutes' walk from Kodaira Station. I thought ordering would be by smartphone, but ordering verbally is OK too. I wanted to fully enjoy 大幸家 first, so I had the Take ramen and a free regular serving of rice. The soup is solidly tonkotsu shoyu, but without much pork-bone smell, and the aftertaste is light. The noodles are medium-thick and straight, and the soup clings to them well. Among the toppings, the ajitama and spinach were especially delicious, but the nori felt a bit weak. It's not that it's thin, but when I lifted the nori a little after I started eating, the part soaked in the soup had already dissolved and fallen off, which was a bit disappointing for a nori lover like me. The interior has only a U-shaped counter, and water is self-service. PayPay accepted. The staff speak gently and are very polite. You could say it's not very iekei-like, but the calm atmosphere was nice.

I always drive past it, and when I come home from the station I'm on the other side, so I'd been curious but never managed to go in. This time I was accompanying someone to the hospital and could park in a nearby lot, so here we go👊 Ordered the kakuni ramen with firm noodles, strong flavor, extra fat + free rice! It came with 3 pieces of kakuni, the noodles were thick and chewy, and the soup was perfect for someone like me who loves strong flavors. I thought next time I'll take a bit of a detour and eat here on my way home. Oh! And most importantly, the owner was so polite it almost made me feel bad, and even though it was my first time, I could order everything smoothly. Thank you very much☺️ And thanks for the meal🙏😋 Oh! Just one more thing☝️ For a fatty like me, the chairs are fixed so it's a bit (very) tight🤣lol If you're on the bigger side, go when it's not crowded lol
