2026.7.18 (Sat) 19:30 Whether it originally split off from 満北亭 or what, at some point only the shop name changed while the owner and menu stayed the same. It's a popular place; whenever I pass by, the seats are pretty full. Besides the counter seats, they've added table seats too, and there seem to be lots of families. Even on weekday daytimes, the seats are pretty full of solo customers. It's a roadside shop with parking for 33 cars. Check-in is the old-school way: you write your name and party size inside the shop and wait. In front of the counter seats is a fully open kitchen with several people working. I think the last time I came to eat here was over 30 years ago. Of course, I don't remember the taste. Today I ordered the miso ramen for 880 yen. You can choose between thin and thick noodles. Hokkaido red miso, with a soup made from pork bones, chicken bones, genkotsu, etc. A stir-fry of mostly bean sprouts with a little cabbage (there were also garlic chives? and ground meat), with corn on top as garnish. Sorry for the low rating for a place with so many fans, but taste is partly a matter of preference, and personally it was meh. The soup is salty. Not strong or weak—just salty. One of my companions ordered it with strong flavor and ate it just fine, so if you like strong flavors it might be OK. Honestly, the gyoza weren't as juicy as their reputation, and the taste wasn't to my liking either. The portion is fairly generous. Payment is in person at the register. Cashless payment is available. Today's timetable 19:30 Arrived 19:45 Seated 20:00 Started eating

A neighborhood ramen shop I'd been wanting to try for a while. I was just dying to eat some really good fried rice, so I ordered the fried rice and the jumbo gyoza. The fried rice is properly fluffy, with every grain separate. The seasoning isn't too strong—just right and good. The texture of the green onion in it is nice. The jumbo gyoza are seriously filling! I took a photo with my chopsticks laid next to a gyoza, and it might be about 6 centimeters wide. The filling is packed in heavy, and the skin is fried nice and crisp—super delicious. I've become a fan of the fried rice here. Thanks for the meal.

I was looking for a ramen shop, and the places I usually go to were all full, so I spotted the sign and went in for the first time. It's a roadside shop with a fairly large parking lot. Around 2pm on a Saturday it was full. You write your name and wait about 15 minutes. Meanwhile counter seats keep opening up, but it seems the rule is to seat people in the order of the name list, and they don't skip the order to fit the available seats. Because of that, it took quite a while from walking in to leaving. Both the ramen and gyoza are simple and truly classic. That's exactly what gave it a reassuring feel. Prices are relatively cheap too.

Everything is delicious, starting with the jumbo gyoza. But the jumbo gyoza isn't 6 pieces' worth made into 1; it's about 1.5 times the size.
