The staff was super friendly, but I wasn't really impressed with the sushi. It might have been because we went at lunch time. If you are going during lunch hours, just order straight from the chef, otherwise it won't be fresh. You don't really need any Japanese; call them over, point to the one you want, and that's it. They will hand it to you when they are finished.

You order on a touchscreen, but it's not conveyor-belt sushi; you receive it directly from the counter. Prices are somewhat high, and although the toppings were fresh and the sardine wasn't bad, the pieces weren't particularly large, and the fish trimmings soup felt overpriced too. They may once have distinguished themselves from inexpensive conveyor-belt sushi, but now it doesn't feel particularly upscale, and the topping selection is rather limited. They also seem short-staffed. Unless they improve the service value to match the prices, it may be hard to justify returning if things stay this way.
