Parking available I visited because I was interested in the 100% 小平 wheat. Local production for local consumption. Less chewy than I imagined. Not hard. The dipping broth is on the salty side. Maybe zaru udon would show its strengths better. The tempura is freshly fried, with vegetables. That change from crispy to soft and mushy is delicious!! I got the katsudon set, but curry might be the safer bet.

I ordered tempura soba & katsudon. The tempura was piping hot, crispy, and very delicious. The katsudon portion was just right too, and I was full. One of those places that makes you want to return.

I ordered a large ten-tama udon with 1 extra egg. The 小平 local-flour udon version. The noodles are thin and aren't so hard that your jaw gets tired. It's a large serving, but doesn't feel like an extra-large one. Simply tasty. The tempura is freshly fried. Not a particularly decorative restaurant. Parking🅿️ available.

I visited after hearing I could eat udon made with locally produced flour hereー!! ■Tsukimi udon and katsudon set It was after 15:00, a time when few independent restaurants are open, so their being open until 16:00 was perfect!! The parking lot is spacious and easy to park in. At that hour, I had the place to myself. You can choose regular udon or udon made with 小平 wheat. The 小平 version is only a few dozen yen more. Of course, I asked for the 小平 version. It's not particularly firm, unlike the 武蔵野 udon famous around here; it's a slightly thinner, smooth and softly chewy type. The broth is quite strong. A lighter broth might suit this udon better... Yes, I felt a Kansai-style broth would be a better match. But an independent restaurant open at this hour is precious, so I'll put it on my list!! ・Parking available ・Cash only

I happened to discover it while driving past. I didn't have time that day, so I visited another day. It was near the end of lunchtime, but the counter seats were full, so I sat at a table. Looking around, I saw a clean interior with FM radio as the background music, just my kind of place. The menu listed soba, udon, 小平 udon, and ramen, so I ordered the large zaru 小平 udon set with kakiage tempura. It was delicious! The udon was quite firm and chewy, with a slightly brownish color like soba, the kind you appreciate for how it goes down? The kakiage was small but crispy, good eaten as is or dipped in the broth, The large zaru portion is just the right size. A place I'd like to come back to eat at.
